The Lesner Inn is a wedding and catering venue located in Virginia Beach, VA. Situated at the intersection of Chesapeake Bay and Lynnhaven River, the beautiful event facility offers breathtaking views of the surrounding water and full-service wedding packages. Here you can enjoy a serene and sophisticated ambiance as you celebrate your momentous occasion in this luxurious beach community. Receptions at The Lesner Inn are held in the classic Lesner Hall or the open-air Waterfront Deck. The Lesner Hall is a magnificent ballroom that features hardwood maple floors, an illustrious chandelier, and romantic décor. This dining room can accommodate 300 for standing cocktail hours, 250 for seated formal dinners, and 150 for buffets. It is also attached to the Sun Deck, where you can take in the views of the sparkling water. For an outdoor dining experience, you can book the Waterfront Deck. This patio hosts 150 for cocktail hours and 110 for seated receptions. As you sip cocktails and sample hors d’oeuvres, you and your loved ones will be able to enjoy the sights of the Chesapeake Bay. In the summer months overhead fans and open windows will keep you cool, while in the winter outdoor heaters will keep you warm and toasty. These facilities can be rented separately or together for small and grand affairs, respectively. The Lesner Inn offers comprehensive wedding packages that come with three hours of event time, tables and Chiavari chairs, linens, china, flatware, and glassware. Décor will be provided and includes tables for desserts and gifts, votive candles, favors, place cards, and easels. A venue manager will also be on hand to help with your preparations and the staff will assist with setup and breakdown. In addition, gourmet catering is available and consists of hors d'oeuvres, plated and buffet dinners, a champagne toast, and an open bar.

We chose The Lesner Inn for our wedding this past July and I could not be happier that we did. The venue is gorgeous, and you cannot beat the amazing view. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff was top notch, and our guests were blown away! When planning our wedding here, we initially decided to not have a “Day of Coordinator” as our wedding party only consisted of myself, my now husband, and my daughter. I thought with having a small wedding party that I could do this on my own. Thank goodness I changed my mind because hiring Britne was the best thing we could have done! She was absolutely amazing! Britne was super responsive, provided great suggestions, and helped me talk through everything when I started to become completely overwhelmed with planning. As it got closer to our big day, she responded to all of my panic emails quickly and put me at ease. She went above and beyond with everything. For example, a few weeks before our wedding, she was outside on the Sunset deck playing the songs for our ceremony and figuring out how long it would take for my entrance to make sure the music faded at the perfect time. No matter what I asked, big or small (like if she would help me get into my dress), she was there to help with a smile on her face. She is the reason our wedding was perfect. Following our reception, my husband and I looked at each other and both said that there is no way we could have done this without her. So, thank you to Britne and the amazing Lesner Inn staff for making our special day amazing!

But when its your own or your fathers wedding you dont know how much the staff at The Lesner Inn really helps to give you a great event and experience.. Alexis and her staff was very helpful and was great.

Having our wedding at the Lesner was the absolute BEST decision that I made. The space is stunning and I always enjoyed every time I was there. I could go on an on about how amazing everything was but let me point out what absolutely MADE our time with them incredibly special. 1. The people. We worked with Britne and she was kind, friendly, always prompt with responding to my every question, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. We live in Tampa, FL but are from VB so she was more than accommodating working around our travel schedules. The night of the wedding Britne was on top of everything, always in the mix to help with anything, and made me feel totally at ease. 2. Food/Alcohol. As someone who never dipped their feet into the wedding world before my own wedding, I had no idea what to expect. Having a venue that handles the food and alcohol is a MAJOR plus. Not only is a plus that they do it, but they do it WELL. They have sooo many fabulous options to choose from- from the hors d'oeuvres, to the dinner, to even late night snacks (I HIGHLY recommend adding some of their late-night snack to your menu. We did the chicken tenders and pretzel bites which were an absolute hit!). Anything that you choose will be delicious, by far the best wedding food I've ever had. The catering staff was also amazing. Everyone I ran into on my wedding night was friendly and helpful. The bartenders were top-notch too, we had friends go out of their way to tell us how great they were! 3. Location. We knew we wanted a venue that could host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same place. Each part of the night had its own space in the venue (if you do rent the entire space that is) and each area felt special and welcoming. There was not an inch of the venue I wasn't obsessed with. I always wanted to have everything inside because I did not want to let the weather dictate my day so I was a litttttle nervous about having the ceremony on the deck. To my dismay, it did in fact rain on my wedding day, BUT that actually turned the deck into the most romantic, gorgeous, intimate space to have the ceremony. So I can attest, even if you're wanting the beautiful sunset overlooking the water, the rain can add a special touch that will make your ceremony unforgettable (all of our guests were swooning over how stunning it was). The venue really speaks for itself. You see pictures, you can even go in and even see other people's wedding set up in there, but when you walk in and see your vision that you've been working on for months and months in the space, there's no better feeling. And it will come together working with the Lesner! You could honestly have no decorations and the space would be beautiful. 4. Rental items. We added the drapes and lighting behind our band and on the ceiling and it was....breathtaking. I highly recommend adding those two things especially if you want a band!! They have so many fun extras to choose from which made it so much easier to go through them and not have to find another vendor. 5. They KNOW what they're doing. There were times I didn't even know what I was doing and was praying it would come together, and it did. But it wasn't by luck, it was because of how hard the staff works, how well they know their stuff, and how beautiful the venue itself is. My wedding at the Lesner was a DREAM. Perfect in every way, you will be blown away working with them. Thanks again for everything 🤍

Emily and Alexis were so easy to work with, and everything went seamlessly on the wedding day. They are the absolute dolls to plan the wedding with, and the venue is gorgeous. Our guests were in awe of how lovely it was! Perfect place to hold your wedding, whether intimate or more extensive. The food was delicious, and the venue was very affordable. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Boy did Alexis and her team deliver!Alexis's warmth, professionalism, welcoming demeanor, and expert ideas made the planning process a pleasure. She always answered our questions honestly, and gave suggestions in a positive way. She was practical, reliable, and respectful in working within our budget.The weekend of the wedding was perfect. The ceremony and the reception too place at the venue. Her team worked diligently to make sure that all details we planned were carried out. The food was delicious. We had almost 200 guests in attendance, and every plate came out hot and flavorful.We have received so many compliments on the venue, Lesner Inn. Our guests couldn't say enough positive things about how much fun they had and how accommodating Lesner was.I highly recommend Lesner Inn for a wedding venue. You won't be disappointed in Alexis Hionis and her staff!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. It was gorgeous and had just undergone renovations before our big day which looked amazing. Emily was fabulous and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was a rockstar for the day-of coordination and took over communication with vendors the week beforehand which was fabulous. We could not have asked for a more smooth wedding day and the food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend the Lesner Inn for any events both for the food and for the venue.

The rehearsal dinner and welcome party that The Lesner created for us was absolutely magical! Every detail, from the floor plan to the menu to the choice of linens was pure perfection! The meal was outstanding--best crab cakes ever! And the chef worked with us to add special touches and details--the vegan meals, created for a few guests, were scrumptious! Alexis was so easy to work with and helped us create the most beautiful kick-off to a splendid wedding weekend! Not to mention--most of the planning happened over the phone or on Zoom meetings, as I live four hours away from the venue!

The team at the Lesner Inn is the ABSOLUTE BEST. We had our October wedding at the Lesner Inn, and could not be more pleased with the whole planning process and the wedding itself. This venue is SPECTACULAR. From the planning phase, Alexis and Noelle were incredibly detailed, easy to work with, and comforting throughout the stresses of planning a wedding. They made it so easy for me as the bride, and left no detail untouched prior to the wedding. Then, on wedding night, everything went perfectly, and the day-of coordination was wonderful. The food was spectacular, the flow of the event was smooth, the views were amazing, the drinks were delicious, the details were beyond what we ever could’ve imagined, the staff was attentive and caring, and the list goes on…….I will always always always recommend the Lesner Inn to any couple. 100%.

The team at the Lesner Inn is the ABSOLUTE BEST. We had our October wedding at the Lesner Inn, and could not be more pleased with the whole planning process and the wedding itself. This venue is SPECTACULAR. From the planning phase, Alexis and Noelle were incredibly detailed, easy to work with, and comforting throughout the stresses of planning a wedding. They made it so easy for me as the bride, and left no detail untouched prior to the wedding. Then, on wedding night, everything went perfectly, and the day-of coordination was wonderful. The food was spectacular, the flow of the event was smooth, the views were amazing, the drinks were delicious, the details were beyond what we ever could’ve imagined, the staff was attentive and caring, and the list goes on…….I will always always always recommend the Lesner Inn to any couple. 100%.

Ok, there are not enough words and time to express how grateful I am to the team at Lesner Inn and Emily H.!! My husband was deployed for all 10 months of wedding planning, he came home 2 weeks beforehand (after multiple extensions and a lot of gray hairs), and to top it off Hurricane Ian decided to make an appearance the actual day of our reception! Emily and the team at Lesner made sure the day was nothing but PERFECT for us!! Emily felt like my wedding coordinator, she was so detailed, professional, easy to communicate with, positive, and so sweet! It was truly a pleasure to work with her throughout the planning process. She made sure no stone was left unturned and it was seriously the best night of our lives! Despite the hurricane and insane weather, everyone showed up on time, Lesner never lost power, and we are still getting rave reviews today about the wonderful staff and bartenders! Our guests honestly forgot there was a hurricane outside! We utilized the entire venue (upstairs & downstairs) and it was so dreamy and welcoming! Everything was set-up exactly as we had planned and they turned our dream into a reality. My only complaint was that we could've stayed and partied all night there!! Thank you, Lesner Inn!! HIGHLY recommend! <3

They took my vision for the day and brought it to life, they kept my planning on track, and they made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. I never went without food or a drink in my hand. Many of our guests raved about the food, especially the hors' doeuvres. The welcome cocktail was the perfect touch. Emily made the cleanup and entire process so seamless for us. She is WONDERFUL. I wish we could relive the day over and over, and will always recommend the Lesner Inn to any of our friends & family.

We chose the Lesner Inn for our reception and ceremony and it was perfect! We had a very small wedding (30 guests) and the Water Side Deck was exactly what we needed. The venue was gorgeous (even more after renovations), the food was delicious, the price range somewhat affordable and our coordinator (Noelle) a miracle maker! Noelle made sure our day was just like we pictured it, everything was exactly how we wanted. She made sure to remind us of small details and gave us amazing service. She even took care of coordinating with the vendors for us. Having a destination wedding was definitely stressful, but with her help for last minute problem solving, we got the chance to truly enjoy it. Lesner Inn isn't just a stunning venue; their expert team members were the brains behind an experience that our guests have yet to stop talking about. They went above and beyond to make sure that our party of 240 were accommodated and treated like VIP. Alexis and Emily were quick to answer all of our questions from the beginning of our planning stages, all the way up to our big day. Not only did they communicate well, but they always communicated with an energy and excitement that was contagious and certainly helped to alleviate the stress or anxiety around planning a wedding.When I say that Alexis knows how to host a memorable party, I mean it! Her suggestions and ideas, be it the small details or immediate solutions, helped to create an event that far exceeded both of our families’ expectations. As if the panoramic views of the Lynnhaven Inlet were not beautiful enough, Lesner Inn recently renovated their interior, and it looks fabulous. You will hardly need the extra decor in a place that looks like this on its own.Last but not least, the food was delicious! I was lucky enough to have had time to eat (almost) my entire plate that the staff kindly prepared for me and my husband. If you’re still looking for a Hampton Roads venue on the water with an exceptional team, look no further. Alexis, Emily, and Lesner Inn team, we had a blast! We cannot thank you enough!

Also I'm a #COVIDBride who planned during a pandemic which is hectic. The only reason the stress was manageable was because of my killer vendor team, including my coordinator & venue manager at The Lesner Inn. I booked my wedding venue before the pandemic and once we shut down, they were there to help every step of the way. Answered all my calls and emails with a reassuring tone that really helped with my anxiety. I had a great experience not only leading up to the big day, but also on my wedding day. I ended up hiring their day of coordination services and it was so nice to have the Lesner team make sure the vendors were doing exactly what they were contracted for, and that I stayed on schedule with my timeline (making sure that things that were most important to me were prioritized). If I could do it all over again, I would choose Lesner a million times. Thank you for not only providing such an incredible location, but also for everything you did to help with planning the event & making the dream day come to life for me. I highly recommend Lesner Inn for your wedding venue!!

We didn’t live in the state any longer while we were wedding planning and she put my mind as ease. My parents adopt everyone and she is know considered family. Now on to the venue it’s self amazing!!! All our guest were telling us how beautiful it was! The food on point the location in point. The Lesner Inn Porch turned out to be an ideal venue for our son’s rehearsal dinner. We could keep the windows wide open and everyone enjoyed the lovely view, especially my granddaughters who were entertained by waving at the boats going by. We planned this long distance so we were not able to come by for a tasting, but the food did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful. The Lesner Inn Porch turned out to be an ideal venue for our son’s rehearsal dinner. We could keep the windows wide open and everyone enjoyed the lovely view, especially my granddaughters who were entertained by waving at the boats going by. We planned this long distance so we were not able to come by for a tasting, but the food did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful. And all of the people we worked with were very nice and very easy to communicate with. Amazing wedding venue!!! So grateful for all they did to help make my dream wedding come to life, even during a pandemic. They were so great at communicating Governor Northam's updates (including but not exclusive to mass gathering regulations & COVID restrictions), which we greatly appreciated... especially since they changed so often. From March 2020 shut down, to May Phase 1 (10 people gatherings) to June Phase 2 (50 people) to July-August Phase 3 (250 people mass gatherings) ... I thought we were in the clear for our fall wedding. But then in August Governor Northam pushed the phases back to Phase 2 (50 person gatherings) ... then back to Phase 3 from end of September through mid November... then come November, he announced we would do a 25-person mass gathering (FROM 250!). And from December-March he announced a 10-person mass gathering limit. SO, needless to say, it's been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and The Lesner Inn was always there to help keep us calm. At any given point, I could give them a call and they'd always make me feel better, providing back up plans to a dozen hypothetical situations. So to the Lesner Inn team, THANK YOU for all of your support and for helping make my dream wedding happen. It may not have been the day I imagined it to be, but my micro-wedding was better than I could have ever dreamed of. You went above and beyond your job description & we're forever grateful.

From our very first meeting at the Lesner Inn, the staff were kind, caring, and passionate about making our wedding day special. Thanks to Kim and Alexis, our wedding day was the absolute PERFECT day. We were married on August 29th, 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, and a hurricane on the way. Kim and Alexis kept us calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire process. On our wedding day they kept our drinks full, the venue clean and our guests happy! Kim even helped me with my veil extremely last minute (like I was headed down the aisle!) which is something I'll never forget!! As a COVID bride I didn't know what to expect for my wedding day, but I seriously could not have selected a better venue with a better staff. They are all so kind, caring, compassionate, etc. We could really tell that this is their passion and they truly strive to make your wedding day flawless. Not to mention, the views are gorgeous and the sunset is just the cherry on top!! All of our guests have been raving about the venue, the food, the hospitality, and the night all together! It was the best experience ever and I am so so so thankful!!!

I had my wedding on the Waterside Deck at the Lesner Inn and it was beautiful! It was very tough planning a wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic but the Lesner Inn was willing to work with me by following protocols but still making sure my day was a perfect as possible. I highly recommend this venue! My only personal note for people looking to have their wedding on the deck, is that it is considered an indoor/ outdoor deck, so there is no AC. I recommend planning your wedding when it is not in the hottest part of summer if you want the deck! I am so glad I had my wedding here!

Attended a wedding and it was absolutely stunning! The view was just breathtaking and don’t get me started on how delicious the food was! The staff was phenomenal and just extremely helpful and kind throughout the night. I can’t wait to attend another wedding here just so I can eat the food again!

She and the other staff were extremely helpful the day of; I didn’t feel clueless or off track at all on my wedding day (which apparently is a problem for other brides). The price was fair for what we did (go to an open house and you might get some free extras). Of course the view was immaculate, made for beautiful photos. Food was VERY good. Overall, everything was perfect thanks to Liz and the Lesner Inn.

From the moment we walked onto the sunset deck upstairs, we knew that we wanted the Lesner Inn to be our wedding venue. It was the first big venue we had visited, but we didn't need to see any more after we saw the view of the Lynnhaven River from the deck. Having our ceremony on the Sunset Deck gave us the opportunity to have an outdoor ceremony at sunset with the protection of a covered deck (and a built-in back-up plan to have the ceremony inside in case of terrible weather). Lindsey was great throughout the planning process-- she promptly answered my (constant) questions. The all-inclusive package with linens, tables, chairs, and use of the Lesner Inn's decor was totally worth it as we didn't have to contract with extra outside vendors or bring much of our own decor in. Our wedding day on 10/19/2018 couldn't have been more perfect. Everything ran smoothly, and all of our guests are still talking about the view of the sunset and how delicious the food was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

We love love loved working with the Lesner Inn! Every aspect from start to finish was excellent. Their entire team is very communicative and so helpful. The venue is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL and our guests are still telling us that our evening ceremony on the Sunset Deck was one of their favorite wedding ceremonies they've been to. The sun was setting right as our ceremony began. It was beautiful. Cocktail hour was on the sunset deck as well and dinner was in the reception room upstairs. The food was delicious, everything was on time and the day with Lesner was completely seamless. We decided on the Lesner Inn as our wedding venue after attending their January open house. This was a well managed event that allowed us to envision our own wedding there. Cayleen sat down with us that day and ran through pricing and options. We were booked by the following week. My husband and I are so grateful to the entire staff and loved having our wedding day there at the Lesner Inn. Highly recommend!

From me emailing multiple times to change the seating and the linens, to them dealing with my mother asking every question in the book, they handled everything amazingly. You meet with them 90 days out just to go over what you think you want, how many people you are having and the linens that you would like, all the major things, then at the two week meeting you finalize everything. I did not have a wedding planner so they pretty much took that over and told me about things that I did not even think about. It is perfect to have everything right at the venue too, we had food, drinks, tables and chairs, linens and things to decorate our tables rented from them. I would 100% recommend this venue to any bride to be!

The venue is beautiful and they provide all things needed for a wedding. It gives you peace of mind. Our friends are all planning to get married at the Lesner Inn because they simply are the best in the area and are so accommodating. Booking at the Lesner Inn was the best decision for the wedding day, i couldn't have planned a better wedding anywhere else.

We had a wonderful time at Lesner for our Oct. 5, 2018 wedding. We had been in the planning process for a year or so leading up to the wedding, and actually switched to Lesner from our original venue and I couldn't have been happier with that decision. It's such a beautiful location on the water. We had about 45 guests in the Waterside Deck, and had both our ceremony and reception on site. This was a celebration of our one year anniversary since we were legally married the year before.We decided to use the venue's day of coordination service, and I would highly recommend couples utilizing this resource! Cayleen and Alexis were great to work with. They were friendly and highly-responsive. Alexis reached out to all our vendors in the two weeks leading up to the wedding to confirm locations, times, etc. This took a lot of stress off my shoulders in the final week before the event. Our guests enjoyed the food and setting. The only advice I would give to future couples is not to book the Waterside Deck in summer. There are ceiling fans and the windows open, but no AC. The day of our wedding it was in the high 70's and partly cloudy, and the room was still a little stuffy. This is definitely a better space for late fall, winter, or early spring weddings.

The venue looked beautiful at the reception and my guests loved the views and the food. The crab cakes were everyone's favorite. Lesner Inn helped make our special day stress-free and beyond memorable. The location/view is spectacular and staff are incredibly accommodating. Brittany, Cayleen and Elizabeth were so kind and helpful throughout the planning process. I had so many questions and they were always quick to respond with an answer! The day of, Brittany went out of her way to help with any issues that came up, including a wrinkle mishap on my wedding gown which she ironed out using her own steamer she rushed home to get! Food was fabulous, everything was on schedule and wait staff were on-point. Bartenders were friendly and fun while keeping the adult beverages flowing! Our day was magical because of Lesner Inn and we will forever be grateful for the perfect memories that were created there!

After meeting with Brittany and taking a tour of the Lesner, we were in love. Brittany was very accommodating and placed a hold on our day while we determined if it was in our budget. After a few days, we paid our deposit and The Lesner was our official venue for our June 17th wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Brittany and her staff were very helpful and considerate with reminders about deadlines and due dates for payment. During the wedding process things can be stressful and the time flies so it was very helpful to have the reminders. Brittany gave us different options throughout the process that made our day exactly what we imagined. The day of the wedding everything ran smoothly and as planned. Brittany and her staff worked well coordinating with our outside day-of planner. The food was delicious and the catering staff was very friendly and on top of cleaning up the mess. Our friends and family raved about the wedding. Overall, we were so happy we chose The Lesner Inn for our wedding day and highly recommend it to any couple!!! Thanks so much Lesner staff!!!

We were pleased with our choice in vendor and would definitely recommend to others. We had both ceremony and reception at Lesner. We did experience communication issues as I had 3 different points of contact throughout my planning process and often times their emails would go down and you could not communicate via email with them. The reception was also a bit too short (even with paying for the 1 hour extension). I wish the packages offered a longer reception option. Additionally, they did not announce that the bar was closing and I, the bride, went to the bar 2 minutes after it closed and they would not serve me another drink. They also could not guarantee early access to the venue (due to rain) until the day of the wedding which caused complications for the rain plans and we had to scramble last minute to ensure that the limo/wedding party/etc. all knew the change of plans on the wedding day. This could have been prevented if they could would have confirmed early access at least the day prior due to no other events being scheduled at the venue that day. Good food, professional, beautiful location.

Our site coordinator Alexis was amazing! She was so helpful during the planning process and always responded quickly to my emails, even emails I was sending the night before the reception with last minute changes. Our reception was held in the Waterside Deck and Lynnhaven Room, which was the perfect amount of space for our 75-person reception. The only decorations we had were our centerpieces, the space does not need more decorations than that. The food was amazing and many of our guests said it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding. Our only complaint was that when the bar was closed, they also took away the jugs of water, even though the reception still had 30 minutes left. Other than that our experience with Lesner Inn was amazing and stress-free!

Where Can I start? From the beginning our experience with the Lesner Inn was perfect. Emails were responded to in a timely manner and responses were informative. We were advised by our Coordinator (Brittany) that there was an open house with vendors and door prizes. We went and ended up winning the Main prize which was a free room rental. We moved forward with the process of booking our date. The entire time, Brittany was MORE than helpful. She really stuck to our budget and helped us in anyway she could. We were aiming for a laid back, intimate sunday- funday brunch wedding, which is exactly what we got. We loved that we did not have to leave to take pictures because with that view of the water, there was no reason to. Everything was perfect and went smoothly. All of our guests loved the laid back vibe of the downstairs Waterside deck. It is the perfect mix of elegance and relaxation when you walk into that room. The Lesner Inn was the number one best choice we made in our wedding process. They really know what they doing and make the planning process so much easier with the different options for decor, linens, and other \"extras\" to choose from. We are SO thankful for them and their professionalism.

The moment we attended the Open House my fiance and I knew that this would be where we would have our ceremony and reception. The water view was amazing and fit our style. I loved the idea of having my ceremony and reception in the same place. I also loved that this venue is beautiful and didn't need a lot of decorations. Table linen is included along with tables, chairs, plates and cutlery. The venue also handles the catering so it's just a matter of choosing what you want. This made planning easier for me. I worked with Brittany and she was great. She answered all my questions whenever I asked. The cocktail hour and reception went smoothly without any issues. We actually had a vegan guest that I was not aware of and hadn't planned for. Brittany was able to accommodate the guest immediately. The only negatives are the venue is not solely yours for the day and there are food/beverage minimums. The venue can accommodate 4 weddings in a day - 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. It is possible that another wedding or event could be happening at the same time as your event. Also, you are on a tight timeline and have to be done by a certain time. We chose to have a small wedding - 75 people. For us the best option was a Friday morning at 11:30. I was a little concerned about the early time but I was very happy with my wedding. It was amazing and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this venue!

Just following our wedding at Galilee Episcopal on August 20th 2016, we held our reception at Lesner Inn and are so glad we did!! We are water/beach lovers and our wedding theme was of that. We used the Waterside Deck and Lynnhaven Room for the reception from noon until 3 pm. It was just perfect and we wouldn't change a thing! Table setting and layout were just great, dance floor roomy, bar convenient, buffet great, cake cutting toast services fantastic! Brittany was awesome and so accommodating from our first call and subsequent countless meetings. She was so patient with both of us, including a real Groomzilla wanting things perfect and they were. Her other staff was fantastic as well! Our guests, mostly from out of town as well as some locals, commented how great and unique the setting was as well as some very tasty food and drink! We had a good experience with Lesner Inn. They were always there to make sure our event ran as smoothly as possible, they worked with our schedule and made themselves available whenever need be. Cayleen was our event manager and our day could not have been what it was without her. She is so great at her job, very experienced and knowledgeable, was able to answer any and all questions or concerns we had. Cayleen would always always reply to my emails promptly and allowed all the time I needed to make any decisions. She was very understanding when it came to constantly changing my mind about this or that or going back and forth between certain decisions. She was there to help if I didn't know what to do. These are the kind of people you need to help you as your planning such a stressful event, you want to make the planning process as easy and possible and the Lesner can do that for you!

The Lesner Inn was a beautiful venue for our wedding and we continue to hear compliments on our venue choice. I'm glad our guests had a wonderful evening after the nonsense we dealt with from our account manager, Cayleen. Every time we sat down with her to discuss details and look for advice when making decisions, she seemed extremely irritated to be dealing with us or like she just didn't care. It was as if she couldn't be bothered with us. On several different occasions she had to be corrected with my now husband's last name for paperwork, which seems to me like a silly thing to mess up since it was ALWAYS printed at the top of the cover page. Before our rehearsal she e-mailed to confirm our time saying, \"See you on Friday.\" Therefore when we arrived we assumed we would be seeing her. She was nowhere to be found and was actually on her way out. When we had questions she wasn't there to assist. Luckily, one of the other women there, Brittany, was available to assist us and answer all of our questions and actually did so with a smile on her face. On our wedding day, Cayleen put out a sign to direct traffic upstairs to our wedding using my last name instead of my husband's. Considering the fact that we had JUST corrected her again at our recent meeting this was upsetting. To top it all off, we woke up to an e-mail while on our honeymoon addressing us as Mr. & Mrs. (my last name). This was upsetting since I was divorced very young and my last name was my ex-husband's. Cayleen was absolutely awful to work with and I would recommend specifically asking for someone else there, such as Alexis or Brittany, if you choose to have your wedding here. Other than our horrible customer service experience, everything else was pretty great and at the end of the day I married my best friend.

The Lesner Inn was a beautiful venue for our wedding and we continue to hear compliments on our venue choice. I'm glad our guests had a wonderful evening after the nonsense we dealt with from our account manager, Cayleen. Every time we sat down with her to discuss details and look for advice when making decisions, she seemed extremely irritated to be dealing with us or like she just didn't care. It was as if she couldn't be bothered with us. It is no easy task being a bride! I am so glad that I chose the Lesner Inn for my wedding Venue. The location is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have pulled it off without my helpful assistant, Brittany! Wow, she was answering emails past 10:00PM and always knew the answers to any questions that I had. I would highly recommend having this talented lady help you through the process. We had a beautiful wedding and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Thanks Lesner Inn!

Such a beautiful venue and a very helpful staff. Everything went off without a hitch, the very few questions that arose the day of were handled quickly and easily. Alexis was very helpful during the planning process, answering all of our questions and explaining where to start with the parts that we had no idea about. The decor options are beautiful and set the exact mood and feel that I wanted. Less expensive than neighboring venues with the same value. Overall WONDERFUL experience, and I would highly recommend it.

Alexis (Owner) Our Director of Operations & Lead Wedding Designer + Day-of-Coordinator is a VB native, born & bred. She is a graduate from the UVa, and after a short stint in the Los Angeles event industry, assisting in the production of major events such as the Screen Actor Guild Awards & Netflix’s 50 Millionth User Event, she returned to her East Coast beach roots. With an inherent love for all things wedding, paired with her creative energy and attention to detail, Alexis has found her home at Lesner where she has overseen hundreds of weddings but still hasn’t grown tired of the excitement of the big day
