Rustic-Chic in Downtown Stillwater, MN
Built in 1895, this building was renovated in 2013 to become The Loft at Studio J, one of the most unique, rustic and charming venues in Minnesota. With the intentionally modern rehabilitation of the building The Loft at Studio J boasts 4,000 sq feet of event space and has a capacity to hold up to 200 guests seated and 250 cocktail style. The venue is perfect for weddings, intimate concerts and all celebrations. Prior to the renovation in 2013, the historic building was used as housing accommodations for lumberjacks in the log industry. The building is bursting with the character and history, yet it still represents the current amenities of the present. We are SO glad we chose the Loft at Studio J for our wedding reception venue! The space itself is timeless - rustic, classic, intimate, and just drop dead gorgeous. It’s perfectly conducive to a buzzing dance floor while still reserving space and opportunity for intimate conversations throughout the night. The bar location flows perfect with the rest of the evening activities, and the built in Photo Booth provides a special way for guests to capture magic moments. Oh, and did I mention it’s located in the heart of Minnesota’s most gorgeous Main Street - truly idyllic. But without question the best part of choosing The Loft is getting to work with Emily! We added on to our package to have her services as our day of coordinator and it may have been the best choice we made through our entire wedding planning. She was organized, professional, and so kind. By the time we reached our reception, we wanted her as a guest! 11/10, would recommend!

What a perfect setting for a fall/winter wedding! Emily and the team were SO perfect to work with - and our guests would not stop raving about how wonderful the space was! It was the PERFECT size for 150 guests - not too crowded, but definitely felt like a party! Our guests got to stay within walking distance, and a bunch of us went out to explore Stillwater night life after the reception. The location truly cannot be beat, and the team was even better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We had our wedding at The Loft at Studio J recently and it was truly everything we wanted and more. As soon as we first toured the venue, we knew it was perfect for us - the exposed bricks, lighting, and windows are so beautiful. The layout and size was perfect for our 130 people wedding. We received a ton of compliments from guests throughout the evening on how beautiful the venue was. Emily helped us plan our event beforehand and she was so amazing - answered all of my many questions and always responding very promptly. Communication was excellent the entire time. We also worked with Kallan as our day of coordinator who was also incredible, paid close attention to detail and was on top of everything the day of. Having our wedding at the Loft was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

My husband and I enjoyed our wedding at the Loft at Studio J so much. The space was beautiful, charming, and created a very sweet and intimate atmosphere for our event. The staff were also incredibly helpful and resourceful. They helped the day remain stress-free and everything came together very smoothly. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married here in January 2023 and it was an amazing experience all around. The venue was so intimate and beautiful in the winter. We had around 120 guests which fit perfect in the space for ceremony and reception. Emily was responsive to email and answered all of our questions as they came up. The only thing I can think that went wrong was that we ordered Lift Bridge root beer and they didn't have it for us on wedding day.

We truly had a great experience working with this venue and it was the perfect place for our wedding! Emily was so wonderful to work with: organized, flexible and willing to try and make things work for us, and palpably excited about our vision. For example, they have a huge bar menu to choose from, but we wanted a specific brand of champagne and their team went out of their way to source it for us. The process was easy, Emily was constantly reassuring and helpful, our requests were accommodated beautifully, and it was an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere to host our people. (AND being in the heart of Stillwater for a wedding was so so fun!) For reference, we had about 125 people and it felt really comfortable. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue!

We received so many comments on how beautiful of a venue it was, and so many of our guests were ecstatic about the location. Being right in downtown Stillwater gave us and our guests access to so many different things (as well as provided the perfect location for beautiful pictures). Working with Emily was easy and stress-free; she was very prompt with communication and flexible with our requests. Such a kind person! Our bartender was also wonderful- quick, polite, and patient. The Loft is fairly priced, beautiful, and overall just worth your time; they go above and beyond to make sure your day is special. You will not regret checking them out!

My husband and I got married at The Loft on 12/02/2022 and everything was perfect! Cory was our day of coordinator and he was amazing! He helped with our decorations which looked amazing, and made everything run so smooth day of. I had so many questions leading up to the day of and Emily and Kallan were both quick to answer emails, help answer questions, and let me go see the space again a couple times. The venue itself is gorgeous and has so much character. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful it was. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and the room flip was so fast and we barely even noticed it was happening! Additionally, we used their preferred caterer, Bella Vida which was delicious. Everything about our day was perfect thanks to those at The Loft!

The venue is beautiful, and our night was magical. The only reason that we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that we were expecting a little more from their expert planning package. We got a wedding advisor, and not a wedding planner. They were really helpful in giving us advice on how to find the vendors, and gave us options to look at, but at the end of the day, we ended up needing to do most of the planning ourselves.

We walked out of the building after our initial tour and we both knew this was the place for us. We got so many compliments from our guests about the ambiance in the space! My husband and I got married at the Loft at Studio J in August and we had an amazing experience there. First, the venue is so cute on its own and requires minimal decorations which saved us a lot of time and money. We had a fairly small wedding (95 including our wedding party) and the space fit our wedding PERFECTLY. There was enough space to move around but we did not feel crowded. We worked with Emily Tweed as our coordinator and she was very professional and timely in her communication. Overall, we had a great experience here and would totally recommend this venue for anyone with a smaller wedding!

The venue was perfect and the entire staff at The Loft at Studio J was phenomenal. My wife and I were excited about the venue and our guests being able to spend the weekend in Stillwater but the staff at The Loft exceeded our already high expectations. Callie, our day of coordinator provided by The Loft, was exceptional. Callie went above and beyond to ensure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. My wife and I didn't have to worry about anything because we knew Callie had it all under control. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to our guests and we received several compliments from our guests reflecting that sentiment. If you are considering The Loft at Studio J for your upcoming wedding, I truly cannot recommend them enough!

Gorgeous venue!! Can't say enough good things about the Loft, we fell in love with it instantly and it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Charming, intimate, lots of character, definitely the industrial chic vibe we were looking for. The hanging lights and brick backdrop are just gorgeous. We had a relatively small headcount, 81 guests, and the space felt just right, neither cramped nor empty.Emily was our wedding planner, and she was fantastic to work with! She responded quickly, kept us on task, found us great vendors, and was our day-of coordinator, well worth the extra fee! Super nice and super professional, she knows her stuff.

Charming, intimate, lots of character, definitely the industrial chic vibe we were looking for. The hanging lights and brick backdrop are just gorgeous. If The Loft at Studio J is available on your desired date - BOOK THEM!!!! It is a beautiful rustic space that doesn’t need much additional decorating at all. Open brick, string lights, cool vintage signs, and an AMAZING chandelier over the stair case leading up to the main space. We got so many compliments on how great the space was! Plus it was so fun to be right on the Main Street in Stillwater. We worked with Emily to plan everything and she was fabulous. Super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We got most of our other vendors off of their vendor list and they were all amazing too. Our guests loved the photo booth as well :) We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, from getting ready in the morning to the final dance, it was the perfect space for our day!!!

We instantly fell in love with this venue when we saw the pictures online and loved it even more when we visited in person. From the start the staff here were really friendly and very responsive to all our questions. They did their best to accommodate our schedule especially since we live out of state and had to do the majority of our planning from there. In our final meeting we went over all the details with Emily and we felt really comfortable going into the day because we knew all the details, big and small, were taken care of.The space has so many unique features that we didn’t have to worry about decorating too much because the space really spoke for itself. The photobooth that is included in the venue was a huge bonus! Our guests had so much fun and we have ended up with some hilarious great photos to look back on from the night!Being located in downtown Stillwater was perfect too because we were only a block away from the hotel we were staying at and a couple blocks from the river. This made it so much easier to get everyone to and from the venue (no driving required!), and we were able to take our wedding party down to the river for some great photos with our photographer.We absolutely loved having our wedding here and now we have a great city to visit and explore in the years to come!

Our guests had so much fun and we have ended up with some hilarious great photos to look back on from the night!Being located in downtown Stillwater was perfect too because we were only a block away from the hotel we were staying at and a couple blocks from the river. This made it so much easier to get everyone to and from the venue (no driving required!), and we were able to take our wedding party down to the river for some great photos with our photographer.We absolutely loved having our wedding here and now we have a great city to visit and explore in the years to come!

The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the girls getting ready room way to small for all of the bridesmaids and getting ready vendors to fit and if you want to get in on time to start getting ready you have to pay a lot more. The getting ready room is really pretty though and great for pictures & storing your things during the wedding. I would recommend this venue to other brides.

My wedding day at the Loft was truly the best day of my life. We had Cory as our Day of Coordinator and he did an amazing job getting everything done beautifully and on time. The day went completely as planned. Bella Vida Catering (preferred vendor) did an amazing job with the food. The staff was amazing to work with and they were very patient with me and my personalized requests. It was the most perfect, intimate, beautiful experience and I cannot thank everyone who helped make that happen enough. I would highly recommend this venue.

She truly listened to what our wishes for our big day were and helped us to make them come to life. With all of the changes due to COVID, she always kept us informed and updated. We always knew what was going on and were able to plan accordingly with any changes. We opted to include a day of coordinator and I highly recommend you do the same! We both were able to truly enjoy our day and our wedding parties because she took care of everything for us! The staff were simply amazing and took care of all of our guests. Emily even stopped by to wish us well, ensure the day was going well, and drop off a wedding present from the team! I wish that we could we re-live the day because it was literally perfect and that is thanks to everyone at The Studio at Loft J. I also would be remiss if I did not mention that as an LGBTQ couple we never felt anything but respect and true care from everyone involved in our day. My husband and I could not be happier that we chose the Loft at Studio J for our wedding in November!Emily and Corey were amazing to work with. They were extremely responsive to my ongoing list of questions (especially during the pandemic). They were very understanding, flexible, and kind throughout the wedding planning process. A huge shout out to Emily, for being proactive and reaching out when the restrictions were placed on the wedding. They made us feel very safe and confident that they were going to handle our small wedding as safely as possible. Right away, we fell in love with the rustic vibe and knew that we could take advantage of how naturally beautiful the venue is. We loved the windows, the chiavari chairs, the bar, and the fact that it has a photobooth (which was so much fun)! It is also reasonable in price, especially for around the area.After our initial tour, they made the process so easy for us and were such a great resource. I love the portal that they put all your information in, so that you can see everything that you talked about just in case you forget something. We flipped our timeline around 9 days before the wedding due to the current restrictions, and both Emily and Corey were transparent, professional and flexible.A huge shout out to the day of coordinator - Corey, who let us use their easels/stands when I completely forgot to buy them for my signage…totally saved the day! He also went above and beyond by referring me to some good photo op locations around Stillwater for the wedding party pics, which I appreciated since I’m not from the area. Even after the wedding, they checked in to make sure that I was taken care of. I have to remind myself that we are not the only wedding they are managing…because they make you feel like the most special couple out there! Not only was the JX and Emily incredibly accommodating to us, as we were trying to plan our wedding during a pandemic, they made our wedding a dream come true. Super disappointed! Not treated fairly! Be aware of all the hidden fees.After looking at a number of wedding venues, we ended up selecting The Loft at Studio J. We liked the industrial feel and signed a contract in Sept, for a wedding the following October. We were not told about the non-refundable deposit until after signing the contract...and the deposit was significant. We looked back at the packet, and did find it written at the bottom of a page of a 10 or so page packet of information. It would have been nice if they would just be upfront an forthcoming. That was the first of many misleading actions and unfair things we experienced. Then came the hidden fees. If you do not go with one of the Lofts' preferred caterers they charge you $1000 to bring another vendor in. But Green Mill Catering (a preferred caterer) charged us a venue fee. We were paying for the venue, paying for the caterer and still was charge an additional venue fee (7%). If we wanted another bartender at The Loft, they were going to charge $250 an hour. Our simply wedding was becoming very expensive due to the hidden costs.We ended up cancelling our contract at the beginning of January and then COVID happened. We asked repeatedly over the next 9 months if they could work us with and provide either a refund, partial refund or allow us to reschedule. The Loft at Studio J did NOTHING to help! They stood by their contract, and did not work with us in any manner....well, they offered to let us reschedule within 6 months but only on a Sunday. Not how we expected to be treated. Clearly the Loft at Studio J is only about the dollars and not really honestly interested in helping people during one of their most important days of their lives. As the world was going through a pandemic, The Loft felt it was best to enforce their contact. As we continued to ask for them to be reasonable, Emily Tweed did not picked up the phone once, to call us to work something out. Her only communication was over email. The caterer, DJ and photographer all provided some type of refund due to the circumstances.I would strongly caution anyone from using the Loft at Studio J for a wedding, party of business event. Couldn't be any more disappointed.

I truly cannot say enough good things about the venue! The aesthetics and simpleness yet elegance that the venue offers is timeless and just what we were looking for. The staff is ABSOLUTELY incredible. Emily Tweed was our Day of Coordinator and I don't know how our day would have gone on without her. She fielded so many questions leading up to our date, kept us organized and managed every small and large detail the day of. She is the best of the best at what she does! Then COVID happened.. We reached out to them at 3.5 months before our wedding. The wedding organizer/director (Emily Tweed ) told us at 6 weeks we could make the decision to postpone. At that point it was May we still didn’t know what the future would hold. We decided to wait it out and reach our guests about the situation. At four weeks prior to the wedding, we still had heard nothing from Emily or any of the Loft at Studio J management. At four weeks prior, the COVID cases were rising and we did not want to be responsible for anyone's ill health. We reached out to Emily Tweed to discuss the situation and get our deposit back since no services were rendered. (They also have a force majeure clause in the contract.) The management team (Emilys brother, Judd Sather), would not return our deposit of 3000, not even a portion of it. 3000 for a tour and a couple emails is quite a fee. Its especially hurtful when you are trying to be responsible and the owner’s is posting about the financial status of his businesses during covid writing “I feel like I’m retired- golfing”. (Judd Sather Photography May 6,2020 entry).We still got married the original date however out of abundance of caution for our loved one's health and safety we had an intimate ceremony and lived streamed it to our families.

Emily & the entire JX Event Venue staff helped me and my now husband make our special day happen. We had to switch venues a month before the wedding date because of COVID-19 and JX was so helpful & worked with us to make our day happen. Our reception turned out absolutely wonderful especially since we had such a short amount of time to get everything switched over and planned at the JX Event Venue. In all honesty I am so glad that we had to switch venues because it was such a gorgeous place. I highly recommend the JX Event Venue!!

The Loft is amazing. This venue really captures the downtown Stillwater feel. We didn't want an outdoor wedding and wanted both the ceremony and reception in the same location. The loft offered the ability to have everything under one roof. This is not a hotel banquet hall. You can tell every detail was selected to offer a picturesque location for a wedding. The staff are great. We had Cory as a Day of Coordinator. Highly recommend. He took my decorating vision and ran with it so we didn't have to do a thing. Emily was so great with the details leading up to the wedding and went out of the way to change a tap line so we could get hard seltzer on tap. Our guests loved it! If you are on the fence about this place go check it out!!

One of my favorite parts of The Loft at Studio J was the staff. They were so easy to work with, and super helpful! We weren’t quite sure which vendors to go with, and Emily was able to share vendors (floral specifically) who had a) designed floral decor for a wedding there before and b) who was within our budget! I could go on and on about all the little details, but I’ll just say this: Literally everything turned out better than we could have imagined. It was everything that we loved, industrial, exposed beams, exposed brick, so beautiful that you barely need decorations. Our manager on the day of the wedding was willie and he was phenomenal. He made sure that everything ran smoothly, he worked with my sister and mom so well! Not only was Willie the manager on duty, he was a bartender and made sure that guests were well served all night. My only suggestion would be to look at and ask about all of the extra fees before you book, for example to have the rehearsal at the venue was another fee either $200 or $300, I would have never thought to ask that being my first time getting married. Other than the extra fees, we loved everything about the Loft! We had our ceremony and reception there, the venue flip was extremely fast. Our guests also loved the photo booth!

She was there for us every step of the way and especially the day of! Our ceremony and reception was held at the Loft, for our 200 wedding guest. The venue setup was prefect for our buffet style dinner, and our bar loving guest. The bridal suit was amazing ! Great for getting ready photos. Included in the venue was a photo booth! Hard to access building for vendors all trying to get in at one time. They had one person working during our wedding. He failed to start the slideshow. He didn't bother to tell us the door code for the bridal room. He seriously did absolutely nothing for us. Not sure why we received the poor service the day of, but I assume it was due to being at their former pricing. These guys were AMAZING!! From start to finish, they were in contact with me always! The best part was the staff member who was present the ENTIRE night - I kid you not she was there at 12:30 am when we were leaving. Having her there made everything go so smoothly, and I was always confident that if there was a problem, she could fix it! If I had to do it all over again, I would get married here in a heart beat! They truly helped make my wedding day perfect!!

We are a St. Paul couple, and we are so happy that we chose this historic location in Stillwater for our reception. The first contact person I had was not very helpful, but she was quickly replaced by the wonderful Annie. Annie effortlessly assisted us with every detail we needed, and gladly spoke to the vendors on our behalf if needed. The staff that was at the Loft on the night of the wedding were professional and helpful, even when one of the guests who had had *too much* fun needed to be escorted out of the building. It seriously did not put even the slightest damper on the evening. I could not have asked for a better experience or more helpful people!

The Loft is an amazing wedding venue and the staff are incredible! They do many, many weddings and it shows because they know how to make it happen. Our guests loved the location right on main street in Stillwater because they were able to explore the city between the ceremony and reception. I would definitely recommend!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, because the location and space was awesome, but the customer service was lacking and I, the bride, felt like an inconvenience to some of the staff my wedding day.Annie, the venue coordinator was awesome to work with up until the wedding, then for rehearsal and the wedding I maybe saw her once (while walking down the street for photos). You work with someone for 9 months planning your wedding then the day of the big event they aren't there - strange. We were told we would get 7 parking spots behind the Loft the day of the wedding; when we arrived there was 1 spot available. While decorating the venue the day of the wedding, there were random people wandering around our venue and using the bathrooms. I thought when you rented a venue, it's 100% yours, guess not here. The photo booth paper ran out of paper halfway through the night so half of our guest didn't get to add pictures to our photo guest book. I don't think that's the bride's job to make sure there is enough paper in the photo booth. This wasn't s huge deal, but when you're promised a photo booth in your rental deal, I'm expecting it to work and have paper. We bought a hashtag wall to put up on the screens throughout the night. When my husband and I asked a staff member to help us get it hooked up, she said \"she'd try to figure it out.\" Once she figured it out, it was up on the screen for 15 minutes then the screen went black. No staff member tried to get the screen working again - waste of money. Emily, the bartender, was a blast. I can't say enough good things about her and how helpful and fun she was to have working our wedding. Going into my wedding day, I was super excited to have my wedding at the Loft and didn't foresee any issues since the staff had been so helpful while planning. I was greatly let down with things not working and things being promised that didn't happen. My husband and I still had a great wedding, just didn't expect all these issues with the Loft.

From the moment we first stepped into the Loft at Studio J, we knew it was the perfect wedding venue for us. Janelle was so kind and helpful every step of the way, and the support staff was excellent on the big day. The space is unique and beautiful, even with minimal decorations. Everyone we worked with at the venue was great! There were not any sneaky add in charges, everything was straight forward and easy to follow. We mostly worked with Annie and she was fabulous! She was very communicative and helped us make sure we had everything checked off our list and made it an easy process.The venue itself was perfectly rustic, romantic, and elegant! We had a winter wedding which is risky, but it ended up lightly snowing during the ceremony and the large windows made it so perfectly picturesque! We also attended a wedding fair on site and checked off, catering, dessert, and DJ off our lists! It was awesome having vendors who were fair priced within the market and familiar with the venue. Everyone was great and our day could not have turned out any more prefect! Thank you to everyone at the Loft @ Studio J for making our day the greatest day!!

Great venue and location for a wedding! The Loft has multiple rooms to use with beautiful backdrops for your photos and a nice intimate feel in the main reception area. Annie and the staff are wonderful and were very timely in responses and to anything we needed. The only negative thing I would say at all regards the price of the venue and then all the additional costs for miscellaneous things (i.e. glassware/fee for outside photographer etc.). We couldn't have been happier with the venue, but that is one thing to anticipate!

We hated the idea of having our event in a room that could also be used for a business conference. The only thing that I did not like was a Coca-Cola sign. It didn't go with our event, so we created a giant mural to cover it. The Loft made it easy to cover._Price, Event Customization, and All-Inclusive SetupWhen we booked in 2014, the price was about half of what it currently is. We paid around $3000 to The Loft for our event. Their current rate for what we got is $5200. Still reasonable for what's included._Gorgeous Bride RoomClearly a photographer designed it with all the little nooks, backgrounds, and natural lighting. The only thing I'd wished that they had in the bride room is storage bins of some sort. When our photographers showed up we had stuff everywhere, and there wasn't a place to stash it. Also, they have a padlock on the door with a secret code so only certain people can be in the room. This was great for some quiet time and private getting-ready time._Photobooth + printsThe photobooth was not a thing we would have paid extra for, but we were happy that it was included. It was a huge hit! They had a printer next to it that made two copies of your strip — one to keep and one to give to us. The Loft also gave us all the original photos, and photos in strip form._Helpful StaffThe best part about The Loft at Studio J is their helpful staff. I was worried because the staff changed between when we booked (2014) and our event (2016) Although the staff changed, the helpfulness didn't.Each event planner was an expert at helping us plan our event — asking appropriate questions at the right time in the planning phase. I was recently married at The Loft at Studio J on Friday, October 2nd, 2015. The day was perfect in every way. My husband and I are so happy we chose The Loft. From the rustic charm, to spacious event area, the photo booth, the awesome bar with all the history displayed in it, the cool bathrooms, and the awesome bride’s room. I knew I had to book The Loft for my wedding. It was perfect in every way and fit perfectly with our rustic theme. The staff has been amazing to work with from day one. Taylor and Melissa both worked with me on getting my wedding just the way it was. They both responded quickly to phone calls and/or emails to any questions I had. The day of the wedding Melissa, Kelsey, Grace and Meredith were the AMAZING to work with! From little requests to big, they did it all and did it well. Lots of our guests commented on how beautiful The Loft was and how perfect it was for our wedding. I would highly recommend The Loft at Studio J!

Where do I start ?! This venue couldn't have been the more perfect for our wedding !!! The Loft is truley a one-of- a- kind and beautiful venue . The need for personal decorations is very minimal because the lights and decor allow your guests to be dazzled by that alone . There were endless options for photographs ....not I mention the best photo booth ever !!!\rFrom our first tour of The Loft to the last song at our wedding reception , the staff were committed to making sure our wedding day was perfect . The customer service was phenomenal!! Judd , Josh, and Melissa made sure we felt like no detail is too small and no question is too random. They were quick to respond to my emails and returned our calls immediately . They were all very on the ball and attentive ..... Not to mention fun!! I loved all the advice with details that I may have overlooked . Thank heavens they were experienced because it allowed us and our guests to have the most amazing day!!! The Loft has to be hands down the best place for a wedding !! Thanks Judd, Josh, and Melissa for helping us to create life long memories and making our day PERFECT!!!

First off I would like to say, that my Husband and I had an almost perfect wedding! The venue is so unique and has so much history. The Loft has only been open for a couple years but has hosted many weddings. However there were quite a few unexpected problems with the new inexperienced staff. I have been communicating with the owner Judd and he has been so involved with helping me resolve the issues. He is working to resolve them and is training the staff at The Loft so all clients have an amazing experience! \rSo all in all I do recommend booking with The Loft. If you love the industrial look of the building and historical feel of downtown Stillwater then this is the place for you! Just make sure you get everything in writing as with any place you book at.

I am so happy we chose The Loft at Studio J for our wedding reception! Melissa, Judd and Josh are the best and made our wedding day a breeze, and so much fun. We chose The Loft because it is gorgeous! We loved it's relaxed, rustic, warm look and love that it is located in downtown Stillwater. We wanted a venue where we could choose our own caterers and with the BYOB option. Melissa was very helpful and fun to work with. I would highly recommend The Loft at Studio J!

I am the honored bride of the 2015 Fairy Godmother Project of MN wedding. This project is the culmination of vendors who give a dream wedding to 1 military couple a year. Judd from the Loft at Studio J signed on as donating venue. Upon being selected, my mind wandered, dreaming of a wedding that one can only conjure up in her mind. What I didn’t realize as I walked through the doors of the loft was that my dream of a space with the swanky blend of elegance and natural elements, beautiful light and an intimate and airy feel….this dream was about to come to life. The best part was Judd and Taylor and the rest of the staff. I was instantly at home with them in their space. Their flexibility made the process so easy. I often felt the desire to stop in and see the space. Each time, they welcomed us. I never felt intrusive. They treat their clients as family and the loft as their home. Judd is constantly upgrading the space to better accommodate guests. Most of my favorite professional pictures were taken in his beautifully remodeled bridal suite. Even the ladies room is elegant and worthy of bridal photos. He has incredible imagination for the space and bringing it to life. We were blown away by the space, flow, architectural details of the exposed brick, reclaimed wood and preservation of its history, the view of main street and the fresh scent of the river as the breeze blew through the windows. Most of all, we were blown away by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. It was the best night of my life and it wouldn’t have happened without Judd and the Loft at Studio J. I am eternally grateful to them for allowing us to share our most sacred moments with them in the loft. There is nowhere else and with no other crew I would have rather shared it. Forever indebted to you all for helping make my dreams come true. Your passion for what you do is obvious and beams through every intricate detail of the loft and all that you provide for those you work with.
