The Meadowood is a remarkable barn venue in Bellville, OH, that hosts weddings and special events. Nestled on over 25 acres of picturesque scenery, this location provides a stunning yet intimate setting for saying 'I do.' The owners strive to provide a personalized experience for couples who choose to host their special day there. They remain on-hand throughout events, assisting when needed and ensuring everything goes according to plan. The Meadowood accommodates both indoor and outdoor celebrations with up to 175 guests from May to October and 130 in November. This gorgeous property includes a one-of-a-kind barn which has been remodeled into a beautiful venue. As well as the newest addition, the Cedar House for couples or their guests to stay in. This creates a weekend wedding destination, Friday-Sunday, to host rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding on Saturday and Sunday to clean up. The venue wows with original timber beams cover the soaring ceilings and blend perfectly with new additions, such as the balcony that overlooks the lawns. The lovingly maintained grounds provide a gorgeous backdrop for ceremonies and wedding pictures, especially near the rippling pond. As the night falls, the setting becomes even cozier beneath a blanket of stars and a spectacular outdoor fireplace. The building contains three restrooms, as well as a get-ready suite for the wedding party to prepare for their day. The Meadowood welcomes couples to celebrate any milestone, from rehearsal dinners to ceremonies and receptions. Couples have use of tables and chairs, along with event setup assistance. Various lighting options are available, including dreamy string fairy lights for indoor and outdoor soirees. When strung in the barn and down to the grand fireplace, they create a soft and romantic ambiance for a first dance as newlyweds. This venue's team welcomes outside vendors, including caterers, as well as outside alcohol permitting you hire a bartender. A bar is available on-site for special events and celebrations.

The Meadowood was the perfect place to have our wedding. The woodsy environment paired with the barn and pond felt like a venue straight out of pinterest. The venue owners were SO sweet and very helpful. The couple who owns the venue are very sweet and extremely helpful on the day of the wedding. They helped insure that everything was where we asked it to be so my husband and I didnt have to worry about it on the day of. I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Meadowood, you will not be disappointed

We chose The Meadowood for our wedding on 9/16/23. When we visited The Meadowood, we fell in love right away and knew it was the perfect place for us. The venue lived up to all of our expectations! Sarah and Layne were amazing to work with and were always available to communicate throughout the whole process. Layne was our event coordinator and was extremely helpful leading up to and on our wedding day. The building and the grounds are beautiful and made the entire wedding day perfect. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved the venue and commended our choice. The Meadowood is truly one of a kind and will make your wedding day one to remember! <3

Our wedding was august 19, 2023 and this place was more than perfect! It was secluded, peaceful and just outright beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined our perfect day anywhere else! thank you for helping give us a perfect weekend. The house we rented on the property was absolutely perfect in every way! Everyone that works for the venue is very nice and helpful. You just can’t go wrong with the meadowood!

Beautiful venue!! Sarah was amazing to work with. I obviously had no clue about how to run a wedding and she was basically my “wedding planner” that day. I was so grateful for her. Everyone had a great time and could not get over how beautiful the setting was. I would do it all over again, here, at this venue — with Sarah. Thank you!!

I had my wedding on 09/30/22. Sarah and Cody were wonderful throughout the entire process. Sarah was very helpful with any questions that I had. They provided all the seating, an arch, and also have decorations that you can use if you choose to! The venue it self was gorgeous and I’m so happy with how everything turned out<3

The Meadowood is an amazing venue. Forest, nature, tranquility as well as a stunning barn with an amazing large fireplace and patio. Couldn't have had a better time! Guests couldn't stop raving about it. The on hand decorations that we were able to use was invaluable.

This wedding venue was perfect for our wedding in October! Besides the venue itself being absolutely beautiful with a very woodsy, natural feel to it, the owners Sarah and Cody are so helpful throughout the entire planning process. They were always there to answer any questions leading up and then made sure everything was actually going smoothly on the big day. They were so accommodating to anything that we wanted to do, they even let our dog be there to celebrate with us! I can't recommend this venue enough!

Sarah and Cody are amazing!! We had to change our wedding plans because of COVID-19 and then we changed them again the day before the wedding because of weather, and they were so accommodating!! The venue is breathtaking, and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to get married! We had our ceremony and reception at the venue, and they even let our dog come to the wedding!! Seriously, this couple will go above and beyond to help your dreams come true and the price is SOO reasonable! My guests were amazed at how well kept and beautiful the space was!

Beautiful woodsy setting with a gorgeous barn and outdoor space. We had to reschedule once and drastically change out plans due to COVID and they were responsive and understanding through out the whole thing. Though our wedding was not our original plan, it was still beautiful and they made our new intimate wedding plans easy and stress free. we are extremely lucky we had such great people to work with and would recommend them to anybody looking for a venue! ♥️♥️♥️

Sarah and Cody were the best! I had changing weather throughout the day, and they made my wedding so beautiful. They moved chair, tables, and even put up tents. They were absolutely wonderful. I could not find enough nice words to say about them, they were just great!!!! My wedding was perfect, even during corona, and I would recommend this venue to anyone!
