I recently was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding at The Meadows and it was incredible!! There were huge, open fields and a gorgeous bridal house complete with outdoor bathtubs :) The suite looked over the field and it was the absolute perfect place to get ready. The venue space is amazing but my overall review is impacted by a few things: When we toured, we were told that our date would be reserved for a few days for us to make a decision. We eventually decided to move forward and were sent a contract. By the time we were ready to sign (later that day) we were told that our date was no longer available and another couple had signed their contract already. This is obviously extremely bizarre; after some push back (this was THE only date that would work for us) the other couple was able to change their date (according to my conversations with Nicole) but neither couple should have been in that situation in the first place. On the day of our wedding, we had the rehearsal in the morning due to thurs/fri events at the venue. There was a decent amount of confusion because the chairs from the previous day’s ceremony were not picked up or moved until ~12:45PM. This greatly impacted the getting ready photos we had envisioned since the chairs were left in front of the aerie house (with our ceremony being out in the field) and it also was just stressful for me as I looked out and was worried they weren’t going to get picked up at all and cause further confusion as the guests were arriving. Lastly, there was perhaps more commotion at the venue on the wedding day as folks from the previous night’s wedding were coming onto the property as we were getting ready and set up to pick up their cars (one of which was left in the aerie house driveway). This confusion is overall not a big deal, but it made it extremely difficult to ascertain which vendors were there (i.e. hair and makeup) which led to us getting started late which is just another source of stress (albeit small) that shouldn’t be thereOverall, I feel super fortunate for the venue space itself, but wish the communication and expectations were presented more clearly up front. The Meadows and their team were amazing! We loved that the venue has so many options for ceremony spaces, two full houses for getting ready, and lots of indoor and outdoor room for the reception. It gave each part of the wedding it's own space and moment, but still felt intimate. The team worked so hard to pull our vision together and will go above and beyond to help however they can. Our day was perfect and that's all due to The Meadows, their planning team, and their coordination with vendors! Reviewed on 30-11-2023

Our daughter had a rehearsal dinner, overnight, and a 215 guest reception which was perfect from start to finish, thanks to the staff and the extremely well-developed spaces. The fact that we could rent the two houses in which the wedding parties spent the night was the best - it gave them a place to chill and have fun, but prevented them from having to drive around town late a night. Gem of a spot - close to downtown, but feels like you are miles in the country. Reviewed on 30-09-2023

This venue is AMAZING. We booked our wedding here right before COVID hit, but even so it was the perfect location to make us feel safe. The getting-ready areas for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were so lovely and spacious, and there were so many gorgeous locations to choose from for the ceremony (we went with the lawn under the oak trees). The reception space is great because it can be molded into the exact look you're going for, and for us it made us feel extra safe to have all those garage doors open. The Meadows staff were incredibly responsive and helpful especially during the pandemic, and were easy to work with and very accommodating when we decided to postpone. So many of our guests remarked on this amazing space and how it really made the day special. It was the perfect spot for our perfect day! Reviewed on 27-08-2023

Tria Metzler(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2021 If you’re searching for venues, I strongly urge you to not consider the Meadows, so they don’t have the chance to negatively impact your wedding as they did ours. I’ll provide an outline of the specifics below; but the long and short of it is: management there is financially predatory, and we had a genuinely terrible experience that I wouldn’t wish upon another couple. The venue may be lovely, but it’s nowhere near enough to make up for the abysmal experience you risk having with the management team at this business.Cliff’s notes: after significant confusion and goal post moving on their part, the venue management price gouged us an additional $2,000 as a rescheduling fee due to COVID, despite this being in direct contradiction with their own policies from our contract. Cancelation & a refund wasn’t provided as an option. Our only choices were to: move our date to a different season entirely (but without any refund, despite this being a lower cost season); pay the additional funds (originally $4,850, but later \"reduced\" to $2,000 when their new policies changed again); or lose the $10,800 we had already paid in full. Management was unhelpful and uncompromising; the representative constantly referenced the newly instated rescheduling fee was for “paying the staff and bills”.The venue management’s disastrous handling of COVID-related rescheduling was then further amplified by their complete lack of customer service by not allowing us access to the venue for the rehearsal within a reasonable time frame. We were denied any access to the venue for a rehearsal on Thursday or Friday before our Saturday wedding, as it would’ve “impacted events” they had scheduled for those days. The venue rep. suggested we have our rehearsal on Wednesday: three days prior, when none of our out-of-town family or bridal party members had even arrived. To add further insult to injury, the venue then allowed another couple on the property for a photo session while our wedding parties were getting ready. To be clear: this in no way impacted us or was a problem. We were merely yet again disappointed by the venue’s fluctuating and inconsistent policies, in which we always seemed to come up short. To add further insult, we arrived the day of our walkthrough (a few weeks before our event) to find the venue had massive renovations underway. This left me incredibly disappointed, and just downright furious. The verbiage we’d been fed that the newly instated, forced rescheduling fees were being used to pay staff and bills was deceitful, given they were clearly able to afford funding a large expansion/property improvement project mere months later. I cannot urge potential future customers strongly enough to take your business elsewhere. Wedding planning is stressful enough without having to deal with this level of unprofessionalism and financial predation. No one deserves the abysmal experience we had on a day that should be as joyous as your wedding. Reviewed on 10-12-2021

Chloe G(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-09-2018 Getting married at The Meadows is the BEST experience! The space is unreal, both in how beautiful and unique it is, and in how much you get. There are two separate houses to get ready in, a ton of ceremony site options (including a particularly magical one in the woods that we used), and there is so much space for the reception that I was overwhelmed with how to incorporate all of the cool areas available to us. The design of the place is so funky and beautiful and is filled with amazing details, like a garden on the roof of the bar and a swanky bridal suite -- and because the owners are such creative people, they're constantly adding to the space. We ended up not even hiring a florist and just putting together very basic floral/candle decor ourselves because the space was so beautiful we didn't need to add much. It also comes with so much stuff that the only things you really need to rent are plates, flatware, and glasses. They have a ton of tables (including the beautiful wood ones in the photos), chairs, lounge furniture (couches, coffee tables, armchairs, etc.), plants, and accent pieces that you can use. Our guests were blown away by the place, often saying that it was the most amazing venue they'd ever seen.Beauty aside, the best thing about The Meadows is the people who run the place. Every single person we worked with is an absolute gem who made the planning experience so easy and fun. From our first FaceTime tour with Kelley to our last walk-through with Hannah, everyone at The Meadows was incredibly flexible, kind, creative, and responsive to us every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this to couples planning their wedding from afar -- we live in Boston and didn't even see the venue in person until 3 months before our wedding, and they really couldn't have made it easier for us.
