The Mill Events Venue is a historic reconstructed flour mill in Windsor, CO. This unique space, featuring high ceilings, tall windows, and red brick walls, makes for a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that pays homage to Colorado's past. Initially built in 1899 as a flour mill, The Mill is a longtime landmark in Northern Colorado. In 2019, the building was beautifully reconstructed to be used as an event space. While updated and modern, it still embraces the charm of the agri-industry architecture of the original building. The large windows provide fantastic natural lighting, and the floor-to-ceiling red brick walls exude timeless appeal. An industrial garage door behind the full-service private bar leads to a patio where you'll find stunning views of the lake and mountains in the distance. Sleek and minimalist yet decidedly elegant, The Mill Events Venue is a gorgeous backdrop for any wedding. The Mill Events Venue team aims to make your wedding day as seamless as possible. All base pricing includes farmhouse tables and chairs, napkins and linens, centerpieces, greenery walls, and setup and breakdown. Additionally, the wedding party gets full access to the 1,600-square-foot white brick house on the property for the entire day of the wedding. It can be used to get ready, take photos, and relax before the ceremony. You can choose to add on decor pieces, such as an archway, paper lanterns, and a suspended ladder. The team will also provide a list of trusted vendors in the area and help coordinate with them to ensure that everything goes smoothly. As a bonus, The Mill is proud to offer first responders and military personnel a reduced price on all wedding packages to show gratitude for their service.

We wish we could relive our wedding day here again and again! The Mill has exactly what we were looking for as a couple, a combination of both of our styles - industrial/modern mixed with farmhouse/organic. We really enjoyed our tour of the venue and how upfront and honest the staff is about costs and logistics. The kindness of the staff and the transparency with which the venue operates really encouraged us to confidently choose The Mill as our venue! :) Not only do they have beautiful tables and chairs to offer, but other details like decor items and fun lighting options. The bar area is a great spot for guests to chat if they prefer not to dance and the set up of the bar itself along with the outdoor patio next to it make for a fun atmosphere separate from the main room. We also really appreciated how the venue can flip from ceremony to reception with ease! We absolutely adored our wedding day and can't thank The Mill staff enough for making it so special!

This is what dreams are made of..... The Mill is the place to make that dream come true. Our dream wedding was here and I cannot imagine it being anywhere else. This place is beautiful. You don't need much decoration because the walls and lighting make it all just right no matter what theme you are looking for. The staff is super helpful and they become part of your wedding like if they were your close relatives. I would get married here again... with the same man, of course!!

10/10 experience all around! The owner was amazing with adapting to our DIY wedding needs. Were able to bring own desserts, use their sound system, and bring in decor/ cutlery for reception tables. This venue is unique in that it requires a room flop if you're using it for both ceremony and reception. We gave the team 1 hr, and everything happened so seamlessly, that I forgot they even had to do it. Their bar staff and bridal house are an added bonus too! Would definetly recommend to anyone interested! We had a fantastic experience at The Mill.

Look no further for the best venue ever. Leah and Laurence were so helpful with everything. I felt like I planned and organized things to a certain extent, but they really took over and executed things perfectly. Not nearly as stressful as I thought. The wedding was so much fun. It was worry free, and I even got to eat. They made all our ideas come to life. They seemed as if they were friends and family; like guests at our wedding. I loved working with them. Id hang out with them/ plan anything with them. Wonderful people, and a beautiful venue.

Having our wedding at The Mill was an absolute dream. From start the finish, Leah & Larry made things so incredibly easy for us. We didn't feel any sort of pressure to book our wedding with them, which we had experienced a lot of with other venues. We knew almost instantly the the venue and the staff were a perfect fit for us. Our questions were always answered promptly and we were never made to feel as if we were a bother. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the Bridal House was a huge hit with our wedding party (so cute and convenient). We were so grateful that we were offered a list of recommended local vendors, almost all of which we used (not a requirement!). The wedding day itself went so smoothly and we wouldn't have changed a single thing about it. I will never stop recommending The Mill to anyone who is looking to plan a wedding in Northern CO!

If I could give the Mill 10/5 stars, I would. We got married there in September, and we absolutely loved it! Larry and Leah were both a joy to work with, and we felt so well-cared for in their hands. The venue itself was stunning - the architecture alone is so pretty that you barely need to add anything to it. But at the same time, they were very responsive to our desires to customize the space, and they made sure everything was well-planned out in advance so we didn't have to worry about the small details on the day of the wedding. Also, THE BRIDAL HOUSE! Man was this such an amazing addition to our ceremony and reception space. The whole bridal party could get ready under one roof (while not seeing each other) and we could bounce back to grab things without them clogging up the venue itself. Can not recommend them enough - thank you again The Mill!

The venue is ran by 3 of the best, most helpful people and were part of the planning every step of the way. The Mill was perfect! The bridal house was the most wonderful space to get ready in. My entire bridal party loved how easy it was to get ready and then simply walk over to our ceremony. The ceremony space was gorgeous- very clean and well maintained. The conversion for ceremony to reception was seamless while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. All of our guest were so impressed with the space. Leah and Laurence were so amazing to work with and made our wedding day absolutely perfect. I couldn't recommend this space enough!

We worked with Leah, Larry, and Brandon and they were all attentive, kind, and dedicated to making our day perfect. The venue itself is stunning, and decorating was so easy due to the decoration packages they offer (this also meant we had minimal cleanup after the event). My partner and I truly couldn’t be any happier with our event and that is largely due to the time and effort put in by the team over at the Mill.

We booked The Mill with Tkale and Brandon before construction was completed because we knew that it had the potential to be a beautiful space, loved the location right across the lake, and couldn't find such a unique venue at a better price point - and we were right! During the planning process, the staff at The Mill was responsive, answered all of our planning questions thoughtfully and quickly, and truly cared about us as a couple. We loved the fact that the Bridal House was included in our reservation and the style of the entire venue fit us perfectly! It's so gorgeous that it needs little decor to feel bridal. We did have a few hiccups that were unexpected, for example, we had planned on having their greenery decor package set up and when we showed up, it hadn't been hung which was disappointing. Luckily, their newly installed greenery walls were a hit as were the eucalyptus table runners and their hanging ladder but we really felt that our vision lacked due to this oversight. We had also requested linens on our head table that had been forgotten and our open bar was only meant to be for beer and wine yet hard alcohol was being added to the tab which caused the budgeted bar tab to run out far sooner than we would have liked. It also came to our attention after the wedding that their staff didn’t arrive until an hour before the ceremony time - and just minutes before our first guests began to show up. However, we love Brandon and Tkale and the venue itself is stunning, in a great location, and perfect in countless ways. We also loved bringing in vendors of our choice and our own decor - that made all of the difference to us in the venue hunt! Additionally, our worship pastor led our guests in an acoustic version of our favorite Christian song, and the acoustics were mind-blowing. It was such a special moment for us that we will never forget.

Leah was wonderful to communicate with, and Brandon worked with us to make our rehearsal and dinner go off without a hitch, despite a last minute change in space due to weather. Our wedding day went absolutely perfectly. The space came together exactly how we’d envisioned. Having the bridal house to get ready in all day made for a wonderful time with our bridal party, and a great space for our hair and makeup team to work in. I could not recommend The Mill more!

Let me just start by saying how thankful and blessed I am to have had my wedding at the Windsor Mill. Brandon and Tkale were so kind, helpful, organized and professional and I wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else, they truly made all of our wedding dreams come true. We also loved how beautiful and elegant the actual venue was and we loved the convenience of having a bridal house right next door for us to utilize and get ready in. We will definitely be recommending this venue to all of our friends and family!

The Mill At Windsor was my absolute dream venue! I had actually booked our wedding at another venue and decided to switch even before any of the construction had really started. We were actually their first wedding there and everything went perfect and smooth. Tkale and Brandon were amazing at planning and details. Any time I had any questions they would respond immediately. I liked that they have their own greenery for centerpieces as it was one last thing I had to worry about. And you can use whatever catering company you want (which is rare for venues). We ended up using Cacciatore downstairs and our food was AMAZING. Everyone was raving about it. Speaking of food the venue also supplies all the plates, silverware, napkins, beautiful chairs and tables which saved us money too. And the bridal house next door was the best! The original venue I booked wasn’t going to allow us to get there until an hour before ceremony which is ridiculous. We were able to start getting ready at 8am and take all of our pictures in the back yard or at the venue. Everything was great and I can’t say anything negative. Perfect wedding.

We are very disappointed in the experience we had with The Mill Events Venue. In my opinion, their communication (or lack thereof) with us was unprofessional. We contracted with Brandon and Tkale in February 2020 to hold our wedding in August 2020 in the Windsor Mill Events space. At the time, we were told that they would be finished with the venue in the summer and weddings would begin in July. As the time to our event drew near, we emailed several questions to them about what to expect and received very delayed responses. We also asked Tkale to provide our wedding cake and desserts through her business in June and never received a communication back from her after that. A couple weeks before our wedding was scheduled to take place, we were getting nervous because we hadn’t heard anything from them about any logistics, vendors, or anything. We were also never provided any update on construction or regulations as it related to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of our newly hired wedding coordinator and many, many voicemails, Brandon finally revealed to us that the space wouldn’t be completed in time. Brandon did not provide information that the venue would not be complete until two weeks before our scheduled wedding date. He promised to return our money and said that we would be able to use their chairs for our ceremony which would now have to be held outside because of the last-minute news. On the day of our ceremony Brandon then told our coordinator that we couldn’t use the chairs and we had to scramble to find an alternative. After making repeated attempts to get our money back, as promised, we ultimately had to report the activity as fraud to our credit card company in order to receive a refund. A wedding is one of the most emotional and important events in a person’s life. We put our trust in this vendor to help make our special day magical and feel like we were treated with total disrespect instead. I understand that delivering bad news is hard but we really would have appreciated any news at all in a more timely manner. Even a simple apology would have been appreciated but we still haven't heard from them.
