For photos and hiking enthusiasts, there are a number of nearby hiking trails, such as one by the Neversink River, and Sam’s Point, only a 25-minute drive away, that offers stunning views and access to ice caves. We envisioned a magical, unique, fun and authentic celebration - Outlier delivered! Josh is always great to work with, and was tireless in making sure everything on the property ran smoothly. He introduced us to wonderful vendors in the area and empowered us to make the space fit exactly what we wanted. The space is so dynamic and the possibilities are nearly endless when it comes to crafting the perfect set up for your event. We appreciate all this property and host has meant to us and our relationship.

We were one of the first weddings ever at TOI in 2014 and we have since recommended the place and team to absolutely everyone we know. The location is ideal for any New York couple, the setup is magical and very convenient considering the amount of accommodations, the owner is incredibly resourceful and helpful. Brownie point for not imposing an early curfew like most wedding venues do.

The Outlier Inn is an amazing place for any event or a weekend retreat. Josh is an insanely fun, genuine, and reliable host who cares a lot about his guests. He wanted to make sure we had our dream weekend so was great about planning with us, answered any and all questions, had great recommendations for vendors, and was helpful on the weekend itself. The space is BEAUTIFUL and a great option if you want your whole party on-site, and there are friends of the Outlier nearby with a similar vibe for additional guest stays. The town is fun, there’s hiking… I can’t think of anything bad to say about this place. If you’re looking for an outdoorsy, organic, farm to table, fun wedding space, this is IT!

What an incredible place to get married! Josh is a fantastic host who helped handle every site detail with grace and patience. The grounds are gorgeous, neat but still wild. Lots of secret spots for magic and meditation - including the dome!The accommodations are all beautiful my family was really comfortable and it was magical waking up there the next day.Did I mention it rained? Well it did, all day! It didn't matter because we still had a great time and danced into the night. There was plenty of space for tents and we were prepared whatever the weather. Josh made sure we had all the local vendor info we needed for rentals.We had a potluck-style wedding, but a local chef roasted a lamb on a spit for us, because why not when there's a fire pit on the property? Now I hear he has a brick pizza oven?! Endless possibilities with that.The surrounding area is full of natural beauty and a warm small community vibe that is welcoming year-round.

We absolutely loved our wedding reception at Outlier Inn. We had the ceremony nearby and then came back to the Inn to celebrate with great food, lots of love, a fun firepit, and dancing in the woods late into the night. Our friends say it was one of the best weddings they attended and we agree. It was such a memorable event. We loved that we could all just walk to our rooms when we were done partying and have privacy too. Waking up the following day with lovely lake views and breakfast with our loved ones was so special. Highly recommend working with Outlier Inn and Joshua for your big day. He has really created a magical oasis in upstate NY.

Words cannot describe how special The Outlier Inn is. The owner, Josh, has poured his hard work and love into every inch of the property and it shows. There are multiple gathering areas and plenty of lodging on property for guests. The space alone is beautiful while also allowing for you to customize it in your own way. The property exudes magic with its inviting nature, the perfect place to celebrate your love. Our guests have not stopped talking about how unique our wedding at the Outlier was. Thank you, Josh!
