Our daughter just had her wedding reception at the Pinery at the Hill, and all I can say is…Wow! The venue staff created a dream wedding! The flowers were absolutely spectacular… perfectly designed and bursting with roses! The food impressed even our family “foodies” and received compliments from the first course to the last course. The bar staff kept the spirits moving!! The service staff kept the room and tables clean all night and met our every need. The on staff DJ was charming and fun and played our curated playlist through the night! He literally managed to get everyone on the dance floor! The pastry chef is a wizard! This wedding cake was not only beautiful but also tasted delicious with each layer different flavors. But the hero of the whole experience is Sydney, the event coordinator. She worked with us for months, answering every question and giving us helpful advice. And on the actual day of the wedding she was there with my daughter and our family from the girl’s hair and makeup at 9am to the party at 9pm! She called all the shots and kept us perfectly on track. She did it with grace and kindness and for that time felt like a wonderful member of our family! Thank you, Sydney and all at the Pinery.

My husband and I hosted our vow renewal at the Pinery at the Hill and WOW, we are overjoyed by the experience, from planning to execution. We joke that we should have had our actual wedding at the Pinery, because in so many ways they did a better job than our out-of-state wedding venue five years ago! The all-inclusive packages make the planning process seamless and stress-free, and their team of vendors is top-notch. The entire process of planning and preparing for our day was nothing but ease, which is so wonderful amid the stress a wedding/large event can bring. Everything went smoothly on our actual event day, and our local and out-of-town guests were impressed by the food, decor, views (omg, the views!), and overall fun they experienced. Special shout-out to Liese, the in-house florist, who put together the most beautiful arrangements, bouquet, and venue decor. She is truly a visionary. Kesley with catering is extremely professional, communicative, and helpful! All dietary needs were accommodated without a hiccup, and our bridal suite food and beverage setup was lovely. Oh, and our buffet meal was delicious, and the desserts...OMG. The desserts are the best I've had at any wedding-type function. The in-house planners have been great; they are very communicative and accommodated last-minute changes and requests that came in prior to the event. I could not recommend the Pinery at the Hill enough for not only weddings, but any event! They are the best in the Springs, for sure.

Sydney was our wedding coordinator, and she did an AMAZING job! Not only did everything go smoothly, but she truly cared about us and made our day so special. She was so helpful, kind, and organized! 10/10-Best venue ever!!! Lo was our wedding coordinator and she was phenomenal! She was there early for us on our day and was so helpful! Even during the week of when one thing had not been finalized she answered my email within minutes (and before normal operating hours) and helped us ensure that the item was finalized and perfect. All the vendors they use including Eli from Az we R videography, Liese from Altitude floral & design, Kate from Altitude Hospitality, Bobbie from All Star Dj’s were incredible and so professional! The venue turned out gorgeous-floral and the decor was everything I ever dreamed of. Our guests were obsessed with the food, the drinks, the view, photobooth, and the DJ (Bobbie was freaking fantastic)! It was my perfect day and I know that it would not have been possible without Lo and the team at the Pinery! I cannot recommend them enough and our guests are still talking about how fantastic our wedding was! If I could- I would love to relive the day and do it all over again because it was a dream come true!

To our surprise our experience was not like the other reviews we read prior to booking the pinery.The venue is beautiful and initially we felt confident about our decision but after we signed our contract the Pinery went through changes in their staff, pricing and packages which we we caught in the middle of. We understand businesses change but we were let down by their lack of communication. When we brought up concerns to the director about how the new day of wedding coordinator Lauren did for rehearsal and wedding day, their response was to point fingers at us for not hiring an outside day of coordinator to take care of what we thought we were paying them for.When I sent my planning document to the new wedding coordinator (who they switched us out with one month from our wedding) she reassured me multiple times that she would take care of everything and there was nothing to worry about. Instead of admitting that they mislead us on expectations, they tried to blame us for not having an outside coordinator even though they saw my schedule and notes in multiple meetings and emails and not once were concerns raised. They should have made it clear on what they will not be helping with on the day of the wedding. We could have avoided this frustration if they had been upfront and we would have taken care of it ourselves but we were told they were handling everything. Not to mention the coordinator tells me the day before the wedding she won’t be at the venue in the morning because of her daughters soccer game. I understand personal things come up but she gave us no time of arrival and got there at 1:30.Our experience would have been very different if there was better communication and clear expectations. Or even them owning up to messing up instead of blaming us would have not led us to share our experience publicly.The part that blows us away is that in the director email response she tells us that they “are not responsible if people choose to not listen to the information being given. We are there for guidance but can only offer our services if they are being received.” when I told her my bridal party had no guidance during rehearsal and the coordinator only had us do it one time and told us everyone would figure it out. Instead of apologizing for lack of communication she condescendingly tells us it’s because our entire bridal party wasn’t listening. Just wow. They never apologized other than to apologize that they could not offer services they don’t provide. Basically saying they don’t own up to any thing that went wrong because it’s is our fault for not knowing what we were asking for (i.e. keeping us on time, telling our families where to sit during the ceremony, coordinating rehearsal etc.) was beyond their services.

I am a wedding painter and just painted a wedding at the Pinery! It is a beautiful venue, clean, elegant and wonderful service. There is easy, ample parking, so its easy for guests for large parties. It's close to town, and easy to get to. I love the chapel and how it is literally steps from the reception site, and bathroom. It is an all in one perfect spot for a wedding. Highly recommended!!

PLANNINGWe were a little nervous going into the planning process since we were planning a destination wedding but Michelle, the venue’s wedding coordinator/manager, made everything absolutely perfect. We flew in to Colorado Springs for a day leading up to the wedding and she lined up meetings with the venue, florist, caterer for the food tasting and baker for the cake tasting all in one day back to back. We were also able to send several packages to the venue to avoid bringing them on our flight in, which we appreciated so much. One of the packages required a signature for delivery but no one was available to receive it at that time. Michelle took the situation into her own hands and went to the post office to pick up the package before it was sent back to the original sender – we were/are SO THANKFUL! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went exactly as planned. She even read the lengthy booklet of instructions I had provided that detailed where I envisioned everything being placed and what I wanted to leave the venue with at the end of the night. She 100% nailed everything. FLORALI knew exactly what I wanted my floral to look like. I was very specific in my request that I only wanted champagne color floral, greenery, dried palms, dried bunnies and pops of burnt orange from the floral I had shipped in. Aside from a champagne flower that pulled a little on the pink side (the main part of the flower was champagne but the tops of it were a light shade of pink), the florist did a GREAT job taking my vision and bringing it to life. They bent over backwards to ensure every pink-ish flower was pulled from any and all arrangements. They also fluffed the arrangements to make them look like that’s how they were supposed to be. At the end of the day – they were GORGEOUS and EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you to Liese and the floral team for being patient with me and my bridesmaids (who are pickier than I am) and bringing my vision to life. They were PERFECT! THE FOODMy dad initially requested that he get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner because it was “safe” and he knew he would like it. LOL Luckily, no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were requested after he tasted dinner, AND he was bragging on how delicious the food was that night (and for weeks after). We received a lot of compliments on how great the food was from all of our friends and family. We might be biased but it was the best food we’ve had at a wedding BY FAR. THE CAKEWe didn’t want the traditional wedding cake so we asked for a cinnamon roll wedding cake. It was unique, cute and DELICIOUS. My husband also requested a Fall Out themed bottle cap groom’s cake. She did a great job on the design and the cake was so yummy. THE DJWow, we had a PARTY. The DJ followed my song requests for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and party songs to a T. He also knew exactly when and how to transition the songs. He definitely kept the energy up the whole night and we had a BLAST! We LOVE The Pinery at the Hill. Their all-inclusive experience made wedding planning simple and The Pinery team executed our vision flawlessly. If you’re considering this venue or another, I strongly recommend that you choose The Pinery at the Hill for your big day. If I could re-live this day, I would. Team 100% included. Thank you for your professionalism, calm demeanor, and for making our wedding day everything we could have asked for and more.

My husband and I toured several different venues before ultimately booking The Pinery at The Hill for our wedding in May of this year. Other venues we toured only allotted half days for a much higher cost. In addition, all of the amenities provided in The Pinery’s wedding packages were an important requirement because we didn’t want each other (or family members) worrying about anything except celebrating! It is not an exaggeration when I say, this venue is utterly beautiful and elegant. It was everything we were looking for! There was not a spot at this venue that was unattractive for photos. The view of downtown Colorado Springs and The Rocky Mountains is the cherry on top. Our guests were incessantly complementing our choice in having our wedding celebration here. If the pristine venue itself doesn’t sell you, the team makes it a no-brainer. Michelle and the entire staff at The Pinery were absolutely fantastic! Everyone was extremely professional and accommodating. Michelle and Liese made sure to respond to ALL of my emails in a timely manner, answering any questions we had, and happily made adjustments when we asked. It’s clear that everyone employed at the Pinery takes pride in what they do. We truly felt like we were in great hands during the entire planning process and the day of our wedding. Michelle arranged for my husband and I to have a few minutes alone after the ceremony to take a breather and she even brought us some hors d’oeuvres to snack on before our grand entrance. Furthermore, she had our barely-touched dinner boxed up for us to take home. It’s the little things that meant a lot to us.I could rant and rave about The Pinery at The Hill for much longer but I trust you’ll see the magic for yourself when you choose them for your celebration!You won’t regret it!

From start to finish, our experience at the Pinery was fantastic. The event space itself is stunning with views of the mountains and downtown. Michelle, the event coordinator, was very straight forward and supportive during the first planning meetings and never wavered in her quick response to questions and requests during the entire planning process. She truly had a million events going on but always made us feel like her top priority. The food team worked carefully with us to ensure that our food met any dietary restriction needs and tasted delicious (we had so many people compliment us on the food!). The floral team met with us twice to ensure that the flowers were perfect (which they were!), and the DJ was fantastic. There were people on the dance floor all night that we’ve never seen dance in our lives. The cake and decorations were beautiful, and we didn’t worry about a single thing the day of. Having virtually all vendors in one place made the planning process so much easier and saved lots of time and stress. We would recommend the Pinery to absolutely anybody!

Words cannot express how happy I am that my husband and I chose to have our wedding at The Pinery! Michelle made everything so easy, especially with having to change our wedding date due to COVID. I got complimented so much on how I chose to decorate, but The Pinery makes it impossible to fail. The photo selections they have to choose from make everything smooth and easy. The FOOD. Don't even get me started on the food. The appetizers, entrees, cake, and late night snacks that we had were SO DELICIOUS. The flow of the venue makes every event flow smoothly--we had our ceremony in the chapel there, went upstairs for the cocktail hour, and went back downstairs for the reception. The lighting everywhere is absolutely wonderful as well, so your pictures will turn out incredible! Staff was always very courteous and so kind! I can't recommend the Pinery enough!

If I could have given this place 10 stars I would have! I picked this place back in June of 2020 for our 2/21/2021 wedding and as soon as we walked in, we knew that was our place. Literally every detail was perfection. Michelle was our wedding coordinator and she truly CRUSHES her job! Our floral was perfect, the music was perfect, the setup was perfect, everything was PERFECT! I had zero wedding stress months leading up to my day because everything was in order already since most everything is in house. The food was phenomenal, we had people tell us that it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted and also one of the best weddings they've ever been to. It was the wedding of my DREAMS and I can't thank The Pinery enough and cannot recommend Michelle and her entire staff enough!! Have your wedding here!!!!!

If I could have given this place 10 stars I would have! I picked this place back in June of 2020 for our 2/21/2021 wedding and as soon as we walked in, we knew that was our place. Literally every detail was perfection. Michelle was our wedding coordinator and she truly CRUSHES her job! Our floral was perfect, the music was perfect, the setup was perfect, everything was PERFECT! I had zero wedding stress months leading up to my day because everything was in order already since most everything is in house. The food was phenomenal, we had people tell us that it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted and also one of the best weddings they've ever been to. We had our wedding on 9/26/2020 and I wouldn’t change my experience for the world (strange to say that now). Michelle and her team are incredible at what they do. Michelle only keeps the best waiters on staff. They find a way to say yes to everything. They went above and beyond for every single guest that came. Please don’t cancel or postpone your wedding... you won’t regret going through with your big day regardless of what it ends up looking like. Covid is here to stay, we have to learn how to safely live with it. We had 133 guests; no one got sick. All of my guests will not stop talking about how wonderful our wedding was. This would not have possible without Michelle and her team. I owe every thank you in the world to them. Michelle is a dream come true. Ivy is amazing. Liese far exceeded my expectations for flowers. Rachel’s donuts are some of the best you’ll ever have. People are asking me where I got them from in town. The food was Altitude Group standard. Everyone raves about how great the food was.Michelle understands that this is a tough time right now. She held my hand and kept me in check through multiple freak outs prior to the wedding. It’s as much of a roller coaster for her as it is for every bride. She goes above and beyond for her clients. She will do anything to take care of her clients in the best way possible. Please treat her with kindness because I can tell you for a fact, Michelle doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. We did not postpone... I am glad I listened to Michelle and let her guide me

We had our wedding at The Pinery at the Hill in November 2020 and had Michelle as our wedding coordinator. As someone who does events for a living, I was so relieved to find a team so responsive, friendly, and timely at a venue so beautiful! They were nothing short of amazing.While our wedding downsized due to Covid, the venue was extremely accommodating to ensure every one of our guests that attended in-person were safe. And while it's near impossible to do that, I really appreciated them working with us on any additional precautions we requested. In addition, they helped me set up a super high-quality Zoom option which made those who couldn't attend in-person, super happy as they could \"take part\" in both the ceremony and reception.On our actual wedding day, they really did go above and beyond. Not only did Michelle make sure I had a moment to step away with my husband and really sink in the day - but I seriously cannot rave enough about the food and dessert. Our guests were pleasantly surprised it wasn't just another \"wedding dinner of plain chicken or beef\". To sum it up, my bridesmaids couldn't stop eating and danced with pie, so I think that explains it all.Thank you so much to Michelle and the team for making our day so memorable! I cannot rave enough about the Pinery at the Hill! Michelle, our wedding coordinator, is one of the most incredible people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My husband and I fell in love with the Pinery and booked it for July of 2020. Once COVID hit, we of course started having concerns about our wedding but Michelle was so quick to respond to our emails and always put my mind at ease. Once June 1st hit, we needed to make a decision whether to postpone (free of charge) or carry on with our intend wedding date on July 19th. We called Michelle who talked us through all of the safety procedures they put in place, and who reassured us that our 100 person wedding is good to go! We literally cried tears of joy! Throughout the next month and a half, Michelle was right there to answer any questions, help with wedding planning and where things are going, etc. She even planned our whole rehearsal dinner (which we had upstairs in their other space) when our original restaurant backed out. I trusted her with everything! The Pinery, and all of the vendors associated with it, were nothing but accommodating, communicative and 100% understanding of last minute changes or concerns. We were able to drop everything off the day before the wedding, and Michelle handled the rest. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day despite everything going on in the world. Michelle took charge of everything and everyone and it was so nice to let go of control and just enjoy the day to its fullest. Michelle even brought us a beautiful plate of apps upstairs for my husband and I to enjoy before our grand entrance! It's the little things. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was both at the rehearsal dinner and reception, not to mention the delicious lunch provided to the wedding party! Oh and I can't forget our awesome DJ - Logan! We loved him and so did everyone else! Overall, Michelle and everyone at the Pinery exceeded my expectations and more. I can't thank them enough for the most perfect day that we will cherish forever.

As an out of state bride, I spoke to several venues in the area and from the moment I spoke to Michelle, I knew that something was different about the Pinery, and I was right. Throughout the entire planning process there is not one detail that Michelle or any of the vendors forgot, even in the midst of the coronavirus. The wedding day itself was seamless, and everything I had ever envisioned came true. It's been more than a month since my wedding and I still have guests telling me that it was the best wedding venue that they've ever been to. I cannot recommend the Pinery enough!

Such an amazing place to have a wedding! We had our wedding on December, 8th, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. Michelle at the Pinery is AMAZING. She is so sweet and responsive to any questions we had or information we needed. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and perfectly. The inside is so warm with the dark wood and the views of downtown CO Springs and the mountains are awesome. There's also plenty to do around the venue for guests that are flying in, such as the Garden of the Gods or Manitou Springs.

From the first moment I walked into the Pinery, I knew it was the venue for us. The view is breathtaking and the packages make life so much easier. Having an all inclusive venue is so worth it. Michelle was our coordinator and she was INCREDIBLE! She answered every question and was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. Not to mention, guests raved about our food (we had plated filet mignon and 3 really great passed appetizers). Our wedding ended up being even better than I imagined it would be. So happy with our decision!

I am an out of town bride with (virtually) no connections to Colorado other than we love CS and the mountains! I stumbled upon this gorgeous venue with mountains in the background and completely fell in love. We actually had to wait until 6 months before our wedding date to make it out to offically book the venue and we are SOOO glad we were married at the Pinery. Michelle is, first of all, a goddess and superwoman rolled into one. She was so helpful, patient, and showed her true powers the day of the wedding. I was truly able to RELAX and enjoy my wedding day because of her! This venue is actually a steal with it being all inclusive. Everyone from my wedding raved about the venue, how gorgeous it was, how great the food was, etc etc. It made this out of town brides job super easy as we were able to plan our entire wedding in virtually 1/2 a day. Stop what you're doing and book this venue! I cannot sing the praises of this place high enough. We love you guys and thank you for making our wedding so magical!

Mackenzie was technically our day-of coordinator, but describing her as such would be selling her short. Not only did she ensure that we were able to book the date that we wanted, but she walked us through the planning process, simplifying each step along the way and making sure all questions were answered. Each package was perfectly outlined for us, detailing food, floral, cake and bar options. Our tastings for food and cake, as well as our floral meeting, were all perfectly executed and planned. The day of the wedding, we were all well-taken care of before, during and after all festivities ended. The bartenders were phenomenal and the DJ curated a fantastic playlist that more than satisfied our music taste. We could not have asked for a better experience with The Pinery at the Hill and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unforgettable experience.

Oh my goodness... Where do I even begin. This place was phenomenal! We held our wedding here 06.29.2019 and it was the funniest night ever! Michelle was so incredible to work with. She had such a calm and warm attitude which was so refreshing during the chaotic wedding planning! She was so attentive to every detail, ready for every curve ball thrown at her, and made my night so wonderful. Pictures don’t even do this place justice. Mountains behind and city on the other side. So many of our guests just sat outside looking at the views because they are hard to ignore. Last but not least, the FOOD!!!!! I’m not kidding, the best wedding food you will EVER eat! We got the steak medallions and braised chicken tinga (I think)....To die for!! Our guests were blown away at the food! Colorado Springs has so much for guests to do and I am SO happy we picked the Pinery at the Hill. Michelle is the best!

Food was amazing. Bar service was amazing and with STRONG drinks. Cake was great (we got 3 different kinds - our favorite was the margarita layer). Flowers and decoration blew my mind away. DJ kept my guests on the dance floor literally the entire night. Overall service was phenomenal. Simply put: EXCEPTIONAL! My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at The Pinery and every single detail and minute of the day not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Pre wedding: We both have very demanding careers with incredibly busy schedules that often require us to work 24+ hours and nights and the entire team at The Pinery accommodated our schedules without question to make things as easy as possible on our end. Communication was through face to face interactions, email and even text messaging. There were also several phone and “after hours” meetings due to our inflexible schedules. I was surprised at how easy the entire process was. Wedding day: WOW! From the time we arrived at the venue at 8am until we left well after midnight, the day was perfect. The staff was receptive to every request and last minute change needed. The floral staff double checked the arrangements with me early in the day and were happy to make any changes I wanted. Lunch was provided for our entire wedding party as well as mimosas for the girls and bloody marys for the guys. Neither myself or my husband were inconvenienced at all during the day, the team simply took care of everything. The ceremony started on time and the rest of the night flowed effortlessly. The reception was AMAZING and the DJ played music appropriate to the vibe the reception was going. The staff ensured we also were able to eat and the food was delicious. At the end of the night, the staff were still more than willing to help us clean out the rooms, load our cars and made sure we had everything we needed. Post wedding: Since our wedding, we have received thank you emails from the staff and they have aided us with items that were accidentally left behind by some of our guests. So many of our guests raved about the beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff and outstanding food and beverage services. As we reflect on our wedding, we are very happy we decided to celebrate our wedding at The Pinery and would recommend it with highest praise! Special thanks: First of all to Mackenzie, the coordinator at the venue, is OUTSTANDING at her job. She is communicative, punctual and organized. She was involved every step of the way and was available on our wedding day for anything we needed. She truly exemplifies professionalism and is among some of the best you can find. Secondly, huge shout out to Anthony, who was our DJ, for working seamlessly with the live band we had and for making our reception one of the most fun parties we have ever attended! He also accommodated last minute changes to lineups and speeches without faltering once. Also, big thanks to Lisa with the floral services. I met with her months before and showed her pictures of the ideas I liked and talked with her about my vision and she exceeded my expectations with all of the floral designs. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the kitchen and bakery staff. The food was phenomenal and everyone raved about how great it all was! I cannot recommend this venue enough! Thank you again to the entire team that made our wedding so special and so fun!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding at the Pinery!!! Their staff is top notch and does an extraordinary job at ensuring you have the best day possible. Everything from the food, flowers, DJ, dessert, and service was exceptional! Our guests are still raving about how our wedding was the best food they’ve ever had (beef medallions and salmon for the win). From the very first time we toured the venue and met Michelle, our wedding coordinator, we knew we were in good hands. Michelle left no detain unnoticed the entire year and a half of planning and on the actual day. She made sure everything was organized and flowed well. One of our favorite things she did was had my husband and I take time to enjoy ourselves in the bridal suite while she brought us up appetizers and champagne. It truly was a nice touch. Liese did an absolute beautiful job with our flowers and helped achieven our vision whilst staying within our budget. Logan, the DJ, had the entire dance floor packed ALL night! He really listened to what we wanted and more importantly what we didn’t want. The communication between Michelle, the chef, the baker and the florist was all seamless. Everyone was always on the same page. The bridal suite was stunning to get ready in! Michelle even came at the crack of dawn to open up the suite early since our ceremony was at a nearby church at 2 PM. They served us champagne in the morning and tasty sandwiches while we were getting ready. We HIGHLY recommend this stunning all-inclusive venue. We cannot thank the Pinery and their staff enough for taking part in the best day of our lives!

Everything about the Pinery is Top Notch!! My mom has been a florist my entire life!! So we’re kinda flower snobs!! Let me tell you the flowers were amazing!! My husband and I went to about a dozen weddings the 3 years before our wedding and we always said!! At our wedding the food has to be hot!! It was delicious!! Everyone raved about how great our food was!! The views!! The getting ready suite!! Everything just perfect!! Michelle is and the staff our awesome!! They don’t forget any details on your day!! Our wedding at The Pinery at the Hill was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Mackenzie was amazing and so helpful along with all the other staff members there. I looked at many venues and never left feeling great and when my husband and I went to The Pinery and met with Mackenzie, we knew we were getting married there! It is such a beautiful place and they made everything run so smoothly. I loved that is is an all inclusive venue, planning a wedding is so stressful and this truly took so much stress off of planning. I highly recommend getting married here, you will NOT regret your decision.

I would have to write a short book about how great it was to have my wedding at The Pinery. From start to finish the staff was wonderful, creative, and helped me make my wedding exactly what I hoped for. The venue is all inclusive (incredible) and the food was spectacular. They let me have a cigar bar outside on the patio and a popcorn bar as a late night snack. I brought these things myself. The florist, Liese worked with my budget to really create a bouquet of my dreams. The DJ, Karson, was amazing. I loved my experience here and would give it 10 stars if I could.

After looking at tons of venues along the front range, none of them even held a candle to The Pinery. Mackenzie and the entire staff at The Pinery made planning infinitely easier- especially planning from out of state. I can't say this enough- all inclusive is the way to go! No random hidden fee's, or paying for things you don't need to- they're up front and totally honest about everything and genuinely just want to make sure your wedding day is the best day of your life! Not only does it make everything less stressful, but everything included is amazing! The food was incredible, the cake was delicious, our flowers were gorgeous, and the service at The Pinery is unparalleled. The venue is absolutely stunning, and getting ready in the bridal suite the morning of with my girls will forever be one of my favorite memories, right next to having our ceremony on the gorgeous veranda and tearing it up on the dance floor thanks to the DJ that my guests still say was the best they'd ever seen at a wedding. Thank you so much for everything Pinery staff, you made our day absolutely flawless!

My wedding at The Pinery was absolutely flawless. Mackenzie and her staff were so helpful and kind, and made my wedding feel so polished and beautiful. It was such a relief to find a venue that was so stunning and inclusive. I never had one moment of stress, and because of them I would have never needed to. During my initial research trying to find venues, the price of the Pinery seemed a little high- but after considering what all is included, it ended up being less expensive than many of the other options, and incredibly convenient! Our coordinator was Michelle, and she did an amazing job throughout the entire process. She responded quickly to all of my emails and calls, and was flexible and professional. The Pinery partners with Garden of the Gods Gourmet for catering, floral, and bakery and all were perfect. I was truly impressed during the taste test for the catering, and it was clear that the head chef really cares about making delicious food. We had more than 150 guests so we got a plated dinner, and the 3 meal choices were just delicious. We ended up choosing 3 different cake flavors because they were all too delicious to choose just one! And the florist, Liese, did a wonderful job working within our budget and did her best to not go over the allotted amount. The floral arrangements were stunning and exactly what I had hoped for. One of the best parts of the wedding was the DJ, Anthony. He had the crowd dancing all night and everyone had an absolute blast.I wouldn't have changed a single thing about the wedding or venue. It was an amazing experience throughout. I would, however, keep in mind that the price listed does not include the service charge. Bronze package, 170 people, added champagne toast and a little extra toward floral and cake, total cost ended up being almost $18000. Weaver Wedding 05.28.18

The Pinery was the PERFECT place for our wedding! We worked with Michelle, who was an amazing coordinator and helped us plan every aspect of our wedding. Not only is it in a beautiful location overlooking downtown Colorado Springs and Pike's Peak, but we loved that The Pinery was pretty all-inclusive which made wedding planning easy! The package comes with the ceremony and reception venue, catered food, cake, flowers, DJ and access to the bridal suite/groom's lounge. Our guests loved the appetizers, dinner, cake and dessert bar. We planned the wedding from out of state, and Michelle and her team made wedding planning incredibly easy from afar and when we were in town. The Pinery has plenty of parking for guests, and some nearby hotels (of which there are plenty!) provide a free shuttle to The Pinery. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted: high quality and great location, with staff who are excellent at what they do. The Pinery is also very transparent about their costs, and since we got married in the off-season, it was great for our budget! I would highly highly recommend anyone have their wedding here!

As a wedding photographer, the Pinery at the Hill is one of our favorite venues to work at. It is obvious that so much thought and effort went into designing the space and it turned out beautifully. The bridal suite alone is incredible! We have enjoyed photographing weddings here and the staff is wonderful. Can't wait for our next one!

I could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding reception at The Pinery at The Hill! Everything was just as I imagined-- truly picture-perfect! Mackenzie was our coordinator. She was very responsive, knowledgeable and welcoming. The events of the day flowed so smoothly and Mackenzie was there from beginning to end to ensure everything ran as planned. One of the best things about the Pinery (aside from the VIEW!) is the \"all-inclusive\" type packages. You can be 100% assured that the quality of food, cake, flowers and DJ services is top-notch. It took away much of the leg work and stress of having to hire multiple vendors. Another perk is that you get the Pinery all to yourselves, all day; we had our afternoon ceremony off-site but were able to utilize the groom and bridal suites to get ready that morning and it was SO nice! I could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding reception at The Pinery at The Hill! Everything was just as I imagined-- truly picture-perfect! Mackenzie was our coordinator. She was very responsive, knowledgeable and welcoming. The events of the day flowed so smoothly and Mackenzie was there from beginning to end to ensure everything ran as planned. One of the best things about the Pinery (aside from the VIEW!) is the \"all-inclusive\" type packages. You can be 100% assured that the quality of food, cake, flowers and DJ services is top-notch. It took away much of the leg work and stress of having to hire multiple vendors. Another perk is that you get the Pinery all to yourselves, all day; we had our afternoon ceremony off-site but were able to utilize the groom and bridal suites to get ready that morning and it was SO nice! All of our guests truly enjoyed themselves as well... everything was so beautiful and most-importantly, fun! I want to do it all over again!

My now husband initially found this venue online. They of course were booked out 9+ months w/ only one weekend available. We made an appointment quickly and were able to visit the venue. We knew this venue was perfect for us even as we walked in the door. We met Mackenzie (our event coordinator) and she walked us through every step of the process. We really liked that the ceremony and reception room are in the same location (convenient for guests). Mackenzie was available via email throughout our wedding planning process. We met with her once more along with Liese who helped with décor, flowers etc. She was absolutely wonderful and helped with every little detail to help make our wedding day amazing. We also met with our cake baker/decorator and they helped us design the cake of our dreams. Lastly we met with Karson our DJ for the wedding. He was absolutely amazing and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. The bridal suite has amazing space and lighting for makeup, hair and pictures. Our wedding we spectacular in every possible way and it was made possible by The Pinery at the Hill. Overall our experience was amazing. We hosted our August wedding here, and planned the entire event from another state. The views of the mountains are spectacular thanks to the windows that align the exterior walls. The entrance is grand and the reception space is easily adjustable to fit any color palette you may desire. The chef and food were fantastic. The florist was so accomodating and worked hard to make my vision come to life. The pastry chef initially struck a negative cord with us but provided superb customer service recovery and made us the most gorgeous wedding cake! They were even able to make our favorite imported alcohol choice available per our request. Our issues were with the financial team for constantly making mistakes on our invoices and the wedding coordinator for her disappearing acts the day of our wedding. It was was such a problem even our guests were looking for her wondering why she was unavailable to assist with issues that arose, though she promised she would be available through the evening. I was so upset to see that our guests never made it outside to the veranda (which was designated for cocktail hour) where the tables were decorated. My parents had to search high and low for her to come to us and help us understand why our guests were not directed to do so. The DJ was also caused some distress due to poor communication and coordination with the other team members and vendors, and also not accomodating a major song request we made. All in all, I would choose Pinery at the Hill again simply because despite the problems that occured, it was our imperfectly perfect wedding and our guests continue to rave about how beautiful, elegant, and fun our wedding was!

The Pinery at the Hill is an amazing place to have a wedding. For starters, the ceremony is typically held in the Sweet Water Chapel. Liese Butler, Pinery's amazing florist, turned the lackluster room into a real masterpiece (the Sweet Water Chapel is the only 'lackluster' room, everything else is absolutely beautiful). There is a whole wall of windows that open into the chapel and a view of the mountains from here. Liese set up a floral and fabric arch and used our centerpieces to line the aisle (she later moved them back to the table so we could maximize our florist budget!) The cocktail hour is held in the reception room and/or on the veranda. All our guests were amazed at the mountain views from the veranda. They can light the fireplace per your request and it makes for a really cool vibe in the fall. The bartenders helped us organize and execute \"signature cocktails\" including a New York Sour, Moscow Mule, Fall Sangria, and a Manhattan that were each given cute names. The cocktail crab cakes are OFF THE CHAIN. The DJ is super helpful through this entire time, playing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and making announcements during the grand entrances (we had a band). The food is pretty good. Go for the ribeye, not the filet! The salmon is the most popular, but I never got around to trying that one. There are tons of add ons you can do (seafood stations, meat cutting stations), but they add up pretty quickly. We did the top level photo booth package. The picture quality was just OK but the DJ put together a really cute label for us and they brought a ton of props. They are pretty flexible, they printed two copies (one for our guest book, another for the guest). The bridal and groom suites are amazing! You can have them pretty much all day, and the bridal suite appears to be modeled after Tiffany & Co. with the light teal walls, silvers and crystal. There's a steamer in the room for you and the girls. Our hair and makeup team came up and got ready right there. Ashley, one of the Pinery's coordinators, comes with the wedding package and is there the whole time to answer questions in the months coming to the wedding and on the wedding day. She is such a great, understanding, person to work with. She coordinated with vendors, led our rehearsal session the day prior, answered all of our questions, and gave good suggestions to make sure our day was tailored to us. Best of: it's a package deal, so you purchase a wedding package at the Pinery and it comes with a DJ, florist/decorator, caterer, cake maker, and staff. They took care of all the rentals (linens, glasses, chargers, flatware). You can personalize your options through each vendor (for instance, we didn't have a cake so the baker made us an amazing dessert bar).Could improve: there is little room to make substitutions for booze, food, etc. nothing is swappable, every thing is an extra cost. Because it is a package deal, the tipping situation is odd/unclear. There is a 22% service charge (which is about standard), but it was kind of unclear where this money went to, some people expect tips whereas others are mainly taken care of by the package/venue. It would be great to see more of an expansion on included (or discounted) vendors to minimize the planning even more (limos, shuttles), but altogether the planning was super stress-free.

The Pinery at the Hill was an outstanding venue to work with. I grew up in Colorado Springs but I was planning my wedding from out of state. The Pinery provides an event coordinator, which allowed me to seamlessly piece together my wedding at a distance. I made one trip to Colorado Springs prior to my wedding and the chef, florist, cake decorator and DJ were all able to meet with me on the same day. The follow-up meetings were all done through email and Skype. Overall, everyone was extremely professional, creative and very conscientious of staying within my budget. Venue- I wanted to pick a venue that showed off the beauty of my hometown, since we had guests coming from all over the world. The Pinery is elegantly designed with views of downtown Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Mountain and Pikes Peak. It was wonderful getting ready, married and hosting the reception all in one location. There are multiple rooms for the different activities so guests experience plenty of variety. Many out-of-town guests appreciated not having to drive to a separate reception hall. In total I had around 140 guests and they comfortably filled the space.Cost- The Pinery offers multiple all-inclusive packages, which allowed me to tailor the wedding to my needs. I ultimately chose a Sunday wedding to push my savings further. It was much easier for me to have one contract for all my vendors (minus the photographer). Though prices might seem high at first, when I started looking at the line items I realized the Pinery is truly a great value. They are very up front about charges and never pushed me to spend more than I wanted.Service- Everyone I worked with was so polite and genuinely wanted to make my day perfect. The florist and cake decorator have plenty of ideas and pictures. On the day of the event everything ran smoothly thanks to my coordinator and the hard work of the other vendors. I could focus on the excitement of getting married and enjoying time with my friends and family, because I knew they were taking care of all the details behind the scene. Food/Drink- There is no shortage of great food options at the Pinery. At my tasting it was hard to narrow down our selections because everything I sampled was delicious. I was relieved they didn't prepare the standard, bland fare that is too common at big wedding venues. The Pinery was also accommodating for 2 of my guests with severe food allergies. My package included an open bar and a champagne toast. As a bride and groom, we were able to sit and enjoy a full dinner. Our coordinator also made sure we had our desired cocktails throughout the reception- a nice touch!Music/Atmosphere- Even though I had a Sunday wedding it still felt like a giant party. The DJ was amazing and read the crowd well. He respected my wishes to avoid songs like the chicken dance or electric slide. He had a large library of classical music, which was helpful when I had to pick songs for the ceremony, dinner time and other \"quieter\" times. I received ample feedback from guests the most fun they ever had at a wedding.I would recommend the Pinery to anyone looking for an affordable yet sophisticated wedding in Colorado!

Spectacular, Beautiful, the wedding to beat! These were just some of the compliments I received about my wedding at the Pinery at the Hill! It’s been a year since my husband and I were married but I still receive compliments about the service, food and overall quality of my wedding. Mackinzie, the coordinator was professional, organized and pulled everything off flawlessly. The flowers by Leise were beautiful, and I was especially impressed when I wasn’t totally satisfied with my first bouquet, she came and talked with me and pulled together exactly what I was looking for in no time at all! Finally working with Sue on my cake was a breeze, she knew exactly what I was looking for and worked with me to stick to the budget and still get exactly what I wanted. We had the BEST experience with The Pinery. I was planning my wedding from out of state, so I was a little nervous when the planning started. I mostly worked with Maggie, and she was wonderful. She answered every e-mail I sent quickly. Everyone was very nice to work with. I really didn't even stress over the wedding itself at all. I knew that everything was being handled. The day of the wedding was perfect. Maggie and the rest of the Pinery staff handled everything for me. It was beautiful! I highly recommend them.

I used Pinery at the Hill for my wedding in just the past few months. Everything was perfect. We had plenty of delicious food and it wasn't dry or tasteless as is the case at many venues. I loved that the cake/dessert, flowers and DJ were included. The flowers were beautiful and I only told them things I liked rather than showing them pictures. The DJ did a great job of playing a variety of music perfect for our crowd. I continue to hear weeks later that this was one of the best weddings our friends and family have attended.

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! It was beautiful, the staff was amazing, they made everything so easy for us! All of the services are provided by them except the officiant and the photographer which made our lives so easy. The flowers were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and they made sure that everything was running smooth and on schedule. We didnt have to worry about a thing. I would suggest this to absolutely anyone getting married in the Colorado Springs area. They gave us suggestions for where to stay, make-up artists, officiants, everything we needed was right at our fingertips- all we had to do was ask! I couldn't be happier with how things turned out, it was perfect!!

The flowers were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and they made sure that everything was running smooth and on schedule. We didnt have to worry about a thing. I would suggest this to absolutely anyone getting married in the Colorado Springs area. They gave us suggestions for where to stay, make-up artists, officiants, everything we needed was right at our fingertips- all we had to do was ask! I couldn't be happier with how things turned out, it was perfect!!

The Pinery was fantastic. The fact that it's an all inclusive venue is amazing. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Lori and Amy are very quick to respond to any questions and are knowledgable. The venue is so beautiful and we received so many compliments on it. Nice to have the entire venue to yourself. Great food, tons of great choices. We had the honey pecan chicken and slow smoked brisket. Absolutely amazing! The floral department did a great job of bringing my vsion to life. Julie was full of suggestions and ideas, you could tell she had tons of experience. The entertainment was great, Brandon did such a great job of getting to know us, and he used that in the reception. Kept the party going all night, all of the guests loved him!

The Pinery is simply outstanding!! Lori and Amy made every step of the planning process a breeze! They have everything covered! THey take care of the ceremony, reception, food, floral, cake and if they don't offer the services themselves they have outstanding suggestions. The flowers were beautiful! Exactly what I wanted! The food was perfect and Brandon did awesome! I have never been to a wedding where the DJ got every single person up (willingly) to dance. I just can't express enough how much I loved having my wedding at the Pinery. Everyone who attended told us how much they loved being there and how beautiful the facility was. A+ support staff as well! I would suggest this place without a doubt to anyone and everyone!

They did an amazing job and because they are almost all inclusive it took a lot of pressure of and made the experience so much more enjoyable. My one complaint, and that of my guests, is that they took the food away before anyone could get seconds and wanted seconds because it was so good.

I loved our wedding and staff we worked with up to the wedding. After the ceremony all staff we had worked with left and staff that covered the reception didn't know us and they werer very rude to family members. They threw away our cake without asking if we wanted to keep it. When I brought this up with the staff the next week all they said to me was, \"Thanks for the feedback this will be a great training opportunity for our team!\" After spending so much money I would have liked to have felt like staff was top notch (like they advertise). This is a beautiful venue and they food was great!
