The Venue of Willow Creek is the perfect natural spot you've been wishing for your BIG DAY to host your ceremony and reception. Stunning outdoor weddings are within your reach at Willow Creek! Ten gorgeous tree lined acres alongside a rock rimmed creek! With stained concrete floors, high ceilings, open spaces and endless natural light. The venue comes with custom handmade wood farm tables for your use. Sixty inch round or eight foot long tables and mahogany chiavari chairs seat up to 250 of your guests indoors. There is plenty of space for your caterer and vendors to set up and work. Willow Creek is climate controlled to keep your guests comfortable year round. We also provide a paved parking lot in front of the venue to allow easy access for your guests. Our patio is opened up for a stunning view of a tree lined ridge and beautifully landscaped grounds. Willow Creek is the ideal location for your outdoor ceremony and unforgettable reception!

The Venue At Willow Creek is one of the best wedding venues in the Kansas City area! I decided to have my wedding back in May at this amazing location and I was not disappointed. The staff are extremely nice, professional, and dedicated to making sure your special day is as magical and stress free as possible. The venue offers a large quantity of decorations to use, a vast variety of different food options or outside catering options, and a lovely stocked bar with a tasty cocktail selection to choose from. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding and would strongly suggest booking before the year is completed booked.

The Venue at Willow Creek is so PHENOMENAL!!! I cannot speak highly enough of them. Both as a venue and as a vendor to work with. Right from the start they were so eager and willing to answer questions! I sent them so many emails over a few months as questions kept popping up and they were always professional and prompt to answer and assure me that they were happy to help. It was such a comfort knowing that they had everything organized and taken care of on the big day - I honestly had no worries that things were going to get set up or taken care of - they handled everything! And get this - another HUGE perk - they have some decorations included in the cost for your use!! We're talking table numbers, candle holders, signs, vases, the arbor, adorable white trees, and more. So I spent much less on decorations than I originally expected and when planning a wedding, everything counts!! I am not good with flowery speeches, but let me tell you, this place is worth writing a long review! KayCee is so sweet and wonderful to work with! She actually cared about our vision for the big day and anything she could do to help. So very thrilled that we found this place and that it was available for the day we needed! The decorations and wonderful people aside, the venue space itself is BEAUTIFUL!! So much natural light and a gorgeous, large outdoor patio with string lights and hanging baskets full of vibrant flowers! With patio seating, a large green lawn surrounded by trees, and glass doors that open up to the outside, I was sold on this place just for the outdoor space. Now unfortunately, my wedding was October 29th, 2023, the ONE cold weekend of the year so far and we're already in mid December sooooo we didn't get to use the outdoor space much, but the inside is so stunning, it didn't disappoint! We had to make a decision on the weather at the last minute and move the ceremony indoors but KayCee and the crew were so flexible, it was SO seamless that the guests said they didn't notice it was originally supposed to be outside! The venue is so beautiful that a couple of our friends came up to us afterwards asking for the details of the space, saying that they want to get married there as well! It is remarkably affordable for the space, decorations, and overall great experience working with the staff. I would totally recommend you check this place out!!

10/10 recommend The Venue at Willow Creek. I worked with KayCee and Jaimee and they were both fantastic.The entire process, from booking through the reception, was seamless. This venue was so wonderful in every way. KayCee was helpful, kind, and everything went so smoothly. We wanted an indoor/outdoor venue option and this was the perfect place. It was also wonderful that there were games and a patio making our day perfect and keeping kids entertained. Every element was wonderful.

We picked this venue because we fell in love with the outdoor space! Throughout the process of planning the wedding the communication with the venue became frustrating. There were times where we waited a month for our checks to be deposited and a lot of information was unclear such as how much event time we had and when that event time would start. At our final meeting at venue we noticed they started construction which I would have liked to be notified about because they had to remove some trees from the outdoor space. During the day of the venue staff was rude to not only myself but my family as well. Every time we came to the venue we were not greeted by anyone we had to go up to the staff to say hi we are here for them to acknowledge us. Morning of the wedding when I arrived to the venue I was informed they did not send accurate information to the florist, so I had to make decisions on best plan for arbor the day of. They had a venue tour while I was getting ready for the wedding, so I was getting dressed and trying to find the best light for photographers while complete strangers were walking by. The venue waited last minute to set up chairs for the outdoor space and set up linens on the tables which put stress on our photographer to capture details due to having to wait on the venue staff. Overall the space has a great beautiful outdoor space, but would have liked communication to be more clear and customer service focused.

The inside was spotless and the setup was perfect. From start to finish the staff went all in on helping us with our vision. The bride suite and groom room were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was clearly designed with cooking in mind which allowed our caterer to seamlessly prepare our food for the big day. Anastasia and Jacquelin are absolutely wonderful to work with. We were sold on having our wedding at the venue at Willow Creek after the first meeting. My husband and I are a photography team (K&B Photos). We have photographed at The Venue at Willow Creek multiple times and have loved all of our experiences! They have beautiful locations outdoors to photograph at as well as a gorgeous bridal room. There is opportunity for events to be held indoors or outdoors and both have beautiful lighting and backgrounds. The staff is amazing and works hard for perfection on each and every wedding day! We recommend this venue to any bride that has not booked a venue yet! Wonderful facility and great staff!

My husband and I are a photography team (K&B Photos). We have photographed at The Venue at Willow Creek multiple times and have loved all of our experiences! They have beautiful locations outdoors to photograph at as well as a gorgeous bridal room. There is opportunity for events to be held indoors or outdoors and both have beautiful lighting and backgrounds. The staff is amazing and works hard for perfection on each and every wedding day! We recommend this venue to any bride that has not booked a venue yet! Wonderful facility and great staff!

I was in the bridal party of a wedding last weekend with the Venue at Willow Creek and I cannot recommend them enough! They worked endlessly to ensure that even though the weather wasn't ideal, the venue was transformed (in an extremely tight window of time) to be a gorgeous indoor ceremony. They took care of any issues that came up so the bride could just focus on her day, and truly went above and beyond to make the day all about the bride and groom. The venue was beautiful and the team is completely dedicated to making it unique and perfect. Cannot recommend them enough.

Everyone was complimentary about the location and staff. The only time I saw the security guards was when they were eating, and that was not a problem, but the rest of the time they stayed in their car. I felt they should have been more visible. I do think having them is a good idea.

The indoor space for our reception is so beautiful and doesn't need much extra decoration. There was more than enough room for our 200 guests. All of the guests were well taken care of with drinks and any questions they had. Even though it was a hot summer day, the nighttime was beautiful and everyone enjoyed being outside with the beautiful lights and scenery. It's not a full 5 stars because the service isn't great and you're not allowed to use their wifi and we were not able to use our sparklers which I was certain that we were able to use them at first but we ended up not doing a send off and in the end it was fine, just wish we were able to use them. Otherwise, the staff and venue were fantastic. I highly recommend it. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was was.

My husband and I fell in love with this venue at the beginning of our search. The building and property are absolutely beautiful. The event coordinators and owner are so helpful and nice. From the day we signed the contract, we were planning on an outdoor ceremony but Mother Nature had different plans in store for us. It started pouring rain 30 minutes before our ceremony, but the staff at Willow Creek sprung into action and made our indoor Plan B ceremony stunning. After experiencing the beauty and intimacy of our indoor ceremony, my husband and I agree that we wouldn't change a thing about our day! Would highly recommend The Venue at Willow Creek!

My husband and I fell in love with this venue at the beginning of our search. The building and property are absolutely beautiful. The event coordinators and owner are so helpful and nice. We knew when we walked in the door that this was the perfect venue for our daughter's reception. Lindsey made sure that all our questions were answered and Allison made sure our night went without a hitch. They communicated with us about every detail, made suggestions to help us make our guests more comfortable and encouraged us to be creative and personal on this special night. The staff working behind the scenes were professional and competent. We had two bars outside and used the patio as the dance floor. This allowed people to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area either on the dance floor or on one of the comfy seating areas. I could not have been more impressed when Allison made sure our sparkler send off got moved up in order to beat the rain. That attention to detail meant the world to my daughter! It was one of the most important parts of the night for her! We have had multiple people tell us it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they've ever been to. I would recommend this venue to any bride! We are still smiling!

Congratulations! Your search has ended and you should definitely pick this spot! We had our wedding reception here on May 20th, 2017. There were about 250 guests and the Venue was perfect, never felt cramped. Lindsey was amazing and even came up some last minute ideas for the first dance out on the patio! She made sure that our day was stress free and I couldn't think of anybody else I wanted to work with. Our head table was on the far end and the DJ (Encore Elite Entertainment) was set up in the corner. The dance floor was set up right in front of the head table and we just moved some tables later in the night which was perfect for everybody to come out and dance!We set up the bars outside on the patio, one was under the covered patio and one was all the way outside. Our photo booth was under the covered patio as well which worked out wonderfully! The yard games and big grassy area were clutch to keep the little kids entertained. Also, we used Olive Events for catering which was one of the recommended caterers from the Venue. People are still asking about the mac and cheese!!! We also got the s'more bar from Olive Events which was a hit! Seriously, this place was perfect and it couldn't have gone any better! Thank you so much again to The Venue at Willow Creek for making our day amazing and Lindsey is a superstar!

Everything about our wedding day was perfect, and the Venue at Willow Creek was a huge part of it. I was planning the wedding from out-of-town and Lindsey was very helpful every step of the way. We had a few unique accommodations that the Venue was flexible with that made the entire week leading up to the big day very stress-free. The day of, the venue staff were consistently checking in and even helped refill our DIY cocoa/coffee bar throughout the evening when family was unavailable. The space was cozy and inviting for our winter wedding - I will be telling everyone about this excellent venue!

We are beyond thrilled with our decision to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Willow Creek. Our wedding was on new year's eve, so the venue is just as perfect for a winter wedding! The bare trees by the creek at sunset made for BEAUTIFUL pictures. Lindsey was so amazing to work with, helping us design the perfect layout to make our wedding fun for all our guests. She was extremely responsive and flexible through the whole process. The groom's suite was huge and so fun for our wedding party to hang out in before the reception, they even had drinks and snacks brought up to us! Our guests loved the venue and had nothing but good things to say about it.I highly recommend having your special event at WIllow Creek, you won't regret it!! :)

The staff was absolutely wonderful and we were taken care of from beginning to end. They worked with us on everything we needed, and even did more than we expected. We decided to have our ceremony and reception both indoors and they did a fantastic job of flipping the room during cocktail hour! The Venue at Willow Creek was the perfect intimate venue we were looking for with a great outdoor space for our ceremony, the patio was inviting, and the interior was cozy. Lindsey and her team did a great job making our day go smooth without any problems and they even stepped in when our caterer was slacking on bussing tables. My husband and I loved every second of our wedding and would not change a thing!

We had our wedding here 10-22-2016, and this venue was amazing!!! I can't say enough good things about Lindsey and Mallory. Planning a wedding from 7 hours away and corresponding only through emails and phone calls, Lindsey was amazing!!! The patio was an amazing then when they opened up the sliding windows it just added to the size of the venue. Between Lindsey, Mallory and our DJ they moved our evening along so our guest didn't get bored. Our guest loved this venue and the atmosphere it created. It was worth every penny we spent!!!

We were married on October 8, outside down by the creek and the trees and it was perfect. Lindsey was so helpful, and answered my emails in a timely fashion! The day of the wedding everything was perfectly in place. We received so many compliments on the venue, how beautiful it was, how wonderful the fire pit was, the dance floor outside and the outstanding outside lounge space. We loved it and so will you!

We just got married at Willow Creek 3 weeks ago. The venue itself is perfect so beautiful clean and new, close to hotels, food, and shopping for out of town guests. Lindsey is the venue coordinator and is very helpful through the whole process and day of is great to have keep things running smoothly. We had a rainy day before ceremony but they really went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I had pictured, we had a good rain plan- but the rain cleared and it was the perfect evening.

It has a rustic but very elegant feel and is awesome for creating a relaxed but still beautiful feel to the big day. We had out reception here this past month and everything was great. They nailed the details and were very accommodating to our needs. We lucked out with a super hot day but we were able to still utilize the outdoor area out back once the sun started going down. We had a smores bar set up outside and it's also a great place for a wedding with kids because they were occupied the whole time! Everyone had a blast!

The Venue itself was amazing. The design of the building, the layout of the grounds and the outdoor areas and patio are all great. We have had 100's of compliments and continue to get them. We had the ceremony on the grounds down by the creek. It was awesome. The suites for the bride and groom were great for relaxing in before the festivities got started. As far as planning goes they make it very easy, meeting with you and giving you their insight from their years of experience. They are very flexible as we had some unusual requests and ideas. It all worked out and when the day came everything went flawless. They were onsite the entire day and night making sure everything went well and it did. The most important thing on your wedding day is enjoying it and not worrying about scheduling and such, and we never worried about a thing, they had us covered. It was a great day, at a great venue. We were very pleased and have lots of great memories.

This journey began back in September for a surprise engagement and Wedding in one. I was searching for a venue that was classy, elegant, warm and inviting and found all of that and more in the Venue at Willow Creek. I had my heart set on another venue until I stepped foot into the room with vaulted ceilings, stained floors, and just an overall comforting feel. I was sold immediately. Not only was was it everything that I was looking for but it was practically in my back yard. My now mother in law recommended the Venue to me based on the reputation and party planning skills of Marisa Roberts. I am grateful she did. Marisa was excited from the get go about my plans for this surprise. Her suggestions for things such as the fire pit, smores bar, outdoor games for the kids and signature cocktails for the adults :) were all a huge hit. The additions made the night more enjoyable and comfortable for everyone. The food from Olive Catering was nothing short of amazing. Everyone that took part raved about it. From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the brazed brisket. Exquisite! \rLindsey was a godsend. As a planner she was on top of things immediately. She helped in every aspect of coordination and had wonderful suggestions that led me to pulling off this surprise. She made sure all of our families and closest friends (who all thought they were attending a surprise engagement party) were in their places and were coordinated for our big reveal. All of the staff were professional, friendly and did an overall amazing job. Every aspect was 5star. I would definitely recommend The Venue at Willow Creek to anyone looking for a top notch facility and staff. They will definitely recieve my business again.

This journey began back in September for a surprise engagement and Wedding in one. I was searching for a venue that was classy, elegant, warm and inviting and found all of that and more in the Venue at Willow Creek. I had my heart set on another venue until I stepped foot into the room with vaulted ceilings, stained floors, and just an overall comforting feel. I was sold immediately. Not only was was it everything that I was looking for but it was practically in my back yard. My now mother in law recommended the Venue to me based on the reputation and party planning skills of Marisa Roberts. I am grateful she did. Marisa was excited from the get go about my plans for this surprise. Her suggestions for things such as the fire pit, smores bar, outdoor games for the kids and signature cocktails for the adults :) were all a huge hit. The additions made the night more enjoyable and comfortable for everyone. The food from Olive Catering was nothing short of amazing. Everyone that took part raved about it. From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the brazed brisket. Exquisite! \rLindsey was a godsend. As a planner she was on top of things immediately. My husband and I were looking for a non-traditional venue for our ceremony, something other than a church or a hotel ballroom. I heard about The Venue at Willow Creek from my hair stylist, whose cousin was planning a wedding there. I immediately called Marisa and scheduled a tour, since it sounded exactly like what we wanted. I do a lot of running at the neighboring lake, and my husband grew up in New Hampshire, so the location was special for both of us. \r\rThe outdoor ceremony site along the creek was perfect! We planned an outdoor wedding in front of the beautiful fall leaves, and really lucked out with the weather. There are so many thoughtful details that made Willow Creek the perfect spot for us. The barn doors leading into the outdoor ceremony space, the chandeliers hung from the tree, the moonlight patio and the back yard facing the tree line gave the venue a special ambiance. The woods surrounding the venue give a secluded feeling, but the venue was easy to get to and find. The fire pits on the patio and the buiId-your-own-sâmores bar was such a fun feature for both us and our guests, and really gave the reception that outdoorsy feeling we wanted. \r\rI could say so many good things about the venue, and working with Marisa and Lindsey was so easy. They really anticipated our needs and had helpful suggestions along the way. The Venue at Willow Creek really was âthe perfect spot we had been wishing for!â I would recommend it to any bride looking for a unique, natural venue with lots of personal touches.
