Amidst a timeless setting of orchards, forests, and rolling hills in the Columbia River Gorge, Tin Roof Barn is the rustic outdoor wedding venue of choice. Whether your style leans toward boho, classic, minimalist or modern, this Hood River wedding venue provides a gorgeous backdrop for your celebration. With provided vintage furnishings of leather and wood, mismatch vintage dining chairs, a covered Pavilion for cocktail hour, and more photo opportunities than you can count with both hands, you'll marvel at the magic created by this stunning location! LOCATION CAPACITY: Ceremonies and receptions can be held in several different locations - the ceremony patio, the barn, the pavilion, and the meadow. Max capacity is 190 guests. The barn itself is 3500 square feet, but is cozy enough to host weddings as small as 50 guests. Many couples choose to have their ceremony in the designated outdoor ceremony patio, cocktail hour in the covered pavilion, and their dinner reception in the barn. There is a large outdoor space for entertaining throughout the entire day. AVAILABILITY: Tin Roof Barn is available seasonally, from May through October. Weddings are held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with weekday options as well. PRICING: Pricing starts at $6300 for guest lists of 160 or less, and $9800 for guest lists of 161-190. Weekday weddings (Tues/Weds/Thurs) are also offered, starting at $4500. Kelly and Tin Roof Barn saved our wedding! We were originally scheduled for another venue in the Gorge, when a wildfire broke out the week of our wedding, causing an evacuation of our original venue and a scramble to find a new site. Our wedding planner connected us to Kelly and TRB, and we couldn't have had a better experience! Kelly was incredibly empathetic, flexible, and willing to go above and beyond to host our wedding on 24-48 hours notice. We were able to use all of our existing vendors, and 'plug and play' our plans seamlessly. While we would've been grateful to host our wedding anywhere at that point, Tin Roof Barn was a gorgeous venue that made our wedding feel so special, despite the circumstances. Guests were blown away by the space, and are still talking about the natural beauty! We can't speak highly enough of Kelly and TRB, and feel so lucky to have them as a part of our story.

As a wedding vendor who works throughout Oregon, Washington & California, Tin Roof Barn took my breath away; the venue offers the serenity of the coast, and the warm nostalgia of being in your grandmother’s garden- but in the scenic PNW Gorge! At every turn there was something new to marvel at and I especially loved all the intentionally incorporated wisteria vines throughout the property. This is a place you ABSOLUTELY want to tour and see/fall in love with for yourself. Don’t forget to see the interior of the house because it is incredibly charming!

Kelly, the owner, is also quite literally a gem of a business owner. She has thought of every little detail to make your wedding day perfect. Kelly also offered her assistance when we unexpectedly ran into an issue with a separate vendor one week prior to the wedding. This venue is unlike any other we researched. They have all of the amenities of a large hotel ballroom with all of the charm of a locally owned boutique. It is the perfect combination of rustic, outdoorsy, feminine and vintage. The owner was quick to respond to communication, and the event planner they partner with (Union Event Co.... Josephine in particular) was amazing. We lost track of how many compliments we received during our reception.

We got married at the Tin Roof Barn this past September and it was EVERYTHING we could have hoped for and beyond. We wanted a venue that showcased the beauty that is the PNW and from it's mountain view (on a sunny day), gorgeous landscape, and orchard, it had it all. The venue is gorgeous on it's own, but also allowed for us to make it ours for the day. Kelly (venue owner) will give you her opinions and recommendations for your wedding day and you should definitely listen! Our wedding was an absolute dream come true, largely thanks to the beautiful Tin Roof Barn. It was the first venue we visited and ended up being the only! We fell in love with it instantly. One thing that we really loved besides the beautiful setting and rustic barn, was how inclusive it is. Not having to worry about all the 'small stuff' allowed me to focus on some of the more important things while planning. Kelly and her staff are incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Many of our guests were from out of town and they still can't stop talking about how perfect the venue was. Everyone was blown away. If you are anything like me and want your special day to not only be beautiful but nearly stress-free and absolutely unforgettable, you can not go wrong with the Tin Roof Barn!

My husband and I were married at Tin Roof Barn on August 5th, and I must say, had an incredibly perfect day and overall experience with TRB. I coordinate and manage corporate events globally for a for a living, and to that, my perspective may be slightly different, but hopefully this will be helpful. First of all, what a location...a stunning and immaculate venue close to all the activities of Hood River! Upon checking in, my sister and I got settled in the Vigus House greeted with coffee already brewed, and light snacks to keep us fueled for the morning of getting dolled up. After the ceremony and dinner it actually took a while to get folks dancing because everyone was so enamored with the scenery, the fire pit, and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine. It was an amazing day, and we feel so lucky to have been married there.So a few logistic thoughts...similar to many other couples, we also had a fair amount of décor, all of our centerpieces, and other touches to place around the property. We were provided full access at 10am per our contract, although were asked to just not set anything on the tables quite yet until the set up was finished, but that went very quickly...no worry, we just dove into place cards, kid's table, family photos on the hutch, etc. Keep in mind though, that I was not a part of any of that set up as I had an amazing Day of Coordinator managing these elements for us...a MUST for this venue...more on that soon. Kelly and the venue make it very clear throughout the planning process that they are not event coordinators, they are providing the venue, the many things that come with it if you choose to use them (ceremony chairs, beautiful dining tables, china, glassware, etc.) You are renting a space, the amenities that come with it, and it was crystal clear ahead of time what was and was not included in our contract. You are not renting a set up staff for your own items, a clean-up crew, folks to bus your tables, etc. That is what hiring professional FULL-SERVICE wedding vendors to help execute your day is for, and we planned accordingly. You will not be successful at this venue if you do not have a person assigned solely to pre-planning and day of coordination that has been involved in all the elements and details from the time you book the venue. You will not be successful if you are having your friend cater the wedding (who does not do this professionally for a living), or your bridesmaids or family members assigned to bus your tables. You will not be successful if you plan your wedding in May, in Oregon, and expect it to be warm at night in a rustic, un-heated barn.You will have an amazing day if you rely on professional vendors (Kelly has a list to share) come together and do what they do best, and that is to execute weddings. Vet your vendors carefully. Get everyone on the same page. Bring them out to the venue ahead of time to get a lay of the land (there are uniqueness's of the layout that I can see would be very challenging, especially for caterers), but pros will have a great game plan! Work with them on a Run of Show for your day, and share that with Kelly ahead of time. Include your day of coordinator on all your emails with the venue. Be ORGANIZED with any do it yourself touches that create an awesome uniqueness to weddings. Make your day at TRB amazing by taking the beautiful venue for what it is, a gorgeous and well-equipped venue at which to host a wedding. Thank you TRB!!!

We got married at Tin Roof Barn on August 12, 2016. What a great decision to take a chance on a new wedding venue. The facilities are downright beautiful and set up to throw a killer party. We loved how we could get ready at the house on the property, the ceremony area is perfect, and the barn was incredible. The way the light shines through the wood boards of the barn is wonderful and the chandeliers are stunning. It is also a HUGE bonus to have all the tables, chairs, silverware, and other items that you would have to rent at most wedding venues.There were only a few items the venue should work on for future weddings. We would highly suggest some fans in the main barn since there will be at least a handful of weddings every year with triple digit heat. We brought our own fans and it made the world of difference. The venue also dropped a couple bombs on us the day before and the day of the wedding. One of which was asking if we could start setting up 2 hours later than what was stated in our contract. It all worked out and we stuck with the original time, but it was inappropriate for them to ask us to set up later. We also did not use the standard tablecloths and place settings because we wanted something different and our families worked incredibly hard to make it happen. The day before and the day of the wedding, they seemed to have issues with the way we were doing things, but eventually went along with what we had in mind. At the end of the day, it all worked out and their on-site staff worked with us to make it happen.All in all, a spectacular venue with great facilities that simply needs to be more flexible with adjusting the standard setup and needs to look farther ahead when asking their guests to change very important details.

I will start off by saying that this venue has a lot going for it. Overall, the venue is beautiful and very well kept and maintained and is well decorated. They market this venue as a place that holds up to 200 guests, which is accurate, but they only have enough tables/dishes/etc to accommodate 150 guests. Anything else you must rent yourself, an they do not let you choose matching items. This venue would have been an amazing wedding venue, however it is unfortunate that the owners are very disorganized, unprofessional, and micro managers. As a wedding coordinator, I have decided that I will not coordinate any further weddings at this location due to the owner, Betsy.This venue is VERY strict with their many rules and will fine you for very minor things. Rehearsal is limited to one hour with the venue and is not flexible for time (we were told we could do rehearsal no later that 4:00 pm, which is tricky with people working). Betsy was there to greet us at 4:00 pm and make sure that we knew we were to be out by 5:00 pm and not a minute later. Her initial vibe was not friendly and welcoming, but it seemed that we were a bother to her and that we needed to be out as soon as possible. We received constant reminders starting at 4:45 that our time was nearly up.The contract says that you have the venue at 10:00 am, however you don’t actually have access to the barn until about noon. The entire time we were doing set up, throughout the wedding, and during cleanup, we were being micro managed by Betsy. Our kitchen crew had a terrible time dealing with her and she treated them very, very poorly and unprofessionally. “Rules\" were not listed in the rules we had been emailed prior or within the contract, yet Betsy would tell us that these rules were “common sense”. Rules such as no one under the age of 18 handling the dinner plates were not disclosed to us until Betsy found out that the family had hired younger, but responsible family friends to bus tables for us that actually work as bus boys. Betsy chose to micro manage and hover our caterers and their kitchen staff most of the evening, especially when it came to clean up time and washing dishes.There are no staff on site to take care of typical venue staff duties such as emptying trash bins (you are expected to haul your own trash and replace all trash bags throughout the venue), dishes, and some other clean up duties. As a wedding coordinator, I have honestly never seen a rules or clean up list that was so long and meticulous, yet very disorganized and confusing. There are AM and PM venue managers that walk around and are available to answer any questions, but also watch you the entire time and make sure you’re following the said rules. That seems to be their only job.I have never been involved with a wedding venue where the owner has been so rude to us and those helping us perform duties such as set up, clean up, and kitchen duties, or a venue that has been so poorly organized and truly unprofessional. I would absolutely not recommend this venue to any bride or groom. The price that they ask is not worth the stress and chaos caused by the owners, especially for a day that is meant to be joyous and celebratory. This venue needs to loosen up and get their contract and rules in order so that brides and grooms are well aware of all of the rules and requirements when they book the venue in the beginning.Brides & grooms beware of this venue!

Betsy chose to micro manage and hover our caterers and their kitchen staff most of the evening, especially when it came to clean up time and washing dishes.There are no staff on site to take care of typical venue staff duties such as emptying trash bins (you are expected to haul your own trash and replace all trash bags throughout the venue), dishes, and some other clean up duties. As a wedding coordinator, I have honestly never seen a rules or clean up list that was so long and meticulous, yet very disorganized and confusing. There are AM and PM venue managers that walk around and are available to answer any questions, but also watch you the entire time and make sure you’re following the said rules. That seems to be their only job.I have never been involved with a wedding venue where the owner has been so rude to us and those helping us perform duties such as set up, clean up, and kitchen duties, or a venue that has been so poorly organized and truly unprofessional. I would absolutely not recommend this venue to any bride or groom. The price that they ask is not worth the stress and chaos caused by the owners, especially for a day that is meant to be joyous and celebratory. This venue needs to loosen up and get their contract and rules in order so that brides and grooms are well aware of all of the rules and requirements when they book the venue in the beginning.Brides & grooms beware of this venue!

I was a guest here for a wedding recently and WOW. I operate a large catering business in the Bay Area and coming out here only made me wish this location was somewhere WE could cater! It is not only Beautiful, but Versatile (which is important as no two weddings are ever alike). From a operational perspective, the facility is put together to make it very easy for service and there is enough room for either bar service & passed apps or buffet dinner or plated service! The restroom facilities are brand new which is a big plus for guests and the possibilities are endless when it comes to what you want to do with this space overall! Beautiful ceremony, awesome spot.

My husband and I attended a wedding in September at the Tin Roof Barn. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! The ceremony took place outside and the scenery was breathtaking. I've never seen so many shades of green. During the reception the light was shining through the exterior wood panels of the barn. It looked so magical when you stepped back to soak in the whole experience! Such a beautiful place. I wish I would have known about it 3 years ago when I got married!

We recenly attended our son's wedding at the the Tin Roof Barn it was a magical day! The Tin Roof Barn nestles in a gorgeous valley just across the Columbia River from Hood River Oregon in White Salmon Washington. It has spectacular views of Mount Adams and the surrounding mountains in a rustic setting. The Tin Roof Barn was peaceful, elegant and gorgeous with the sun peaking through in the late afternoon to the evening reception under a millions stars inside unique chandaleer lighting added the vintage touch and wamth as the sun began to set. It was simply amazing and breath taking, the colors were gorgeous, the setting romantic with all the facilities state of the art, it was sophisticated but causual and warm. We so enjoyed discovering the surrounding area in all its Fall beauty. It has so much to offer guests from the amazing scenery of Mount Hood to the Columbia River Gorge to white water rafting,kayaking & hiking to wonderful accomodations in boutique hotels, to pictursque B&B's to a gorgeous Victorian home over looking the river. Simply loved the area... the Tin Roof Barn and its surroundings made the wedding magical and wonderful!

Attended Kelly and Brent's wedding at the end of September and was just amazed. Lovely ceremony under an arbor that was made of 100 year old wood covered in roses, corkscrew willow branches and even some apples from one of the farm's old apple trees. The barn itself is the real star of the venue, however. It's like an old, dignified member of the family embracing each and every guest. The sun shining in through slats in the old barn boards in the late afternoon was beautiful and as it got darker, four large chandeliers came on. Truly an elegant setting but more than that, it's a warm, friendly place created by people who seem to want each wedding to be a special memory. This one certainly was!

I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in a wedding at this magical spot in the Columbia Gorge area. I cannot say enough good things about the Tin Roof Barn! This place is a photographers dream! I know because I was just recently married myself and I wish I had know about this spot! The light coming in through the slats of the barn were spectacular! The 100 year old barn sits on a huge property next to an apple orchard and the White Salmon River runs close to the property. As the sun went down the twinkly lights outside came on and the rustic chandiers on the inside gave a warm and romantic feel. I especially loved the mismatched vintage china with the lace tablecloths. You can tell there was so much love put into the details. \rThe wedding ceremony was held right next to the barn with a beautiful rustic wood arbor. This place is magical (can I say magical twice) and we all had the best time dancing on the huge dance floor. My husband and I are still talking about this beautiful area. Hoping we can retire there someday! - Mrs T

Recently attended a wedding here and was truly amazed with this unique setting. A gorgeous, one of a kind venue. The surrounding area has a great deal to offer guests with wineries, Mt Hood, river rafting , wind surfing, great restaurants and a very friendly community.

The barn is the perfect atmosphere for a sophisticated but casual atmosphere. It's stunningly beautiful while being romantically rustic. There is an awesome bar area and room for the caterers to set up, a huge dance floor and modern restroom facilities. The reception I attended was the most fun of any I have ever been to.

Kelly Regan (Owner) Thanks for checking out our sweet ol' barn! My parents bought this gorgeous piece of paradise in 1970 and I was raised here, along with my two younger sisters and an assortment of dogs, cats, horses, cows, the occasional chicken, etc. After decades of sitting vacant, collecting loose dust and fond memories, its venue conversion began in 2014. Like a good wine, this property has aged gracefully during it's transformation and has been in our family now for over 50 years. At 107 years old, Tin Roof Barn has quite some history.
