Situated in the heart of York, PA, Yorktowne Farms is a countryside venue for weddings and other special events. Whether you desire an intimate venue for your rehearsal dinner or a dreamy backdrop for your vow exchange, this fairytale farm has several spaces just for you. Between the garden's rich greenery and the barn's peaceful atmosphere, you can have a celebration like no other. Originally built in the 1850's, Yorktowne Farms refurbished barn has hosted several events, like weddings, corporate and non-profit events, for over 15 years. The elevated barn features tiled flooring, wooden pillars, stone walls, and pendant lighting. You and 150 beloved guests may also dance the night away on the barn's dance floor. Though the space is enchanting on its own, the barn's exterior boasts charm and tranquillity. You can exchange vows outdoors on the manicured lawn surrounded by tall trees and your loved ones. This classic garden is also ideal for professional photoshoots and cocktail hours with romantic settings and breathtaking sunsets. If you envision a little more exclusivity, the farm can also provide a 20x40 tent for your outdoor event. Yorktowne Farms is led by passionate owners Terri and Mark Carter. This dynamic duo is delighted to be a part of your once-in-a-lifetime event and can arrange a private viewing of each space. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Yorktowne Farms! Mark and Terri were a dream to work with. So kind, professional, and flexible. Quick with their communication and beyond accommodating. Despite the dreadful weather forecasted for our wedding, Yorktowne Farms had all the accommodations needed. Our wedding was beautiful and all our guests commented on how spectacular the property was. The new bridal suite is stunning and a great addition. Highly recommending booking this venue!

We had our dream wedding at Yorktowne Farms, this fall!In October of 2022, my husband proposed at the farm, with future hopes of getting married there. The night we got engaged, Terri and Mark booked our date. They celebrated with us and made the planning process so easy and stress free. This October, we had our wedding. The day of, the weather was very iffy. The Carters helped us to create back up plans and made all our worries go away. The day of they checked in with our whole wedding party and our families, to ensure the day was everything we wanted and more. The newly added bridal suite was perfect for my girls and I to get ready in. It is absolutely beautiful and has all the accommodations, you can imagine. The venue is beyond beautiful, and there are many options to choose from. Terri and Mark are wonderful people and we are so thankful they were apart of our wedding process!!

We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at Yorktowne farms! The venue is stunning and our guests commented on how beautiful everything was. Even on a rainy wedding day, we were still able to have a gorgeous wedding thanks to the tent and barn. Terri and Mark were extremely helpful throughout the planning process, always very quick to respond and had all the info we needed. They were also a huge help during the wedding weekend, supporting us when we needed help through set-up, tear-down, and the wedding day itself. We definitely recommend having your wedding at Yorktowne Farms!

This venue is absolutely beautiful!!! The owners Terri and Mark are amazing! They we're very helpful, kind, and loving! They made sure the wedding was running smoothly and checked on us throughout the day which was awesome! I was in contact with Terri up to the day of the wedding. She is so sweet and responds fast! They made my family and I feel as if we were their family! I had the perfect wedding and I have them to thank for it! The barn is amazing and you can do about anything in there!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE!!!

HAVE PASSED BY THIS FARM SO MANY TIMES AS MY KIDS WENT TO CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL. MY WHOLE FAMILY HAS ALWAYS ADMIRED IT. WHEN MY DAUGHTER GOT ENGAGED THIS YEAR, SHE KNEW SHE WANTED HER WEDDING AT A BARN. HOW EXCITED WE WERE TO FIND OUT THIS FARM COULD BE RENTED OUT. TERRI AND MARK ARE TWO OF THE NICEST PEOPLE YOU WILL MEET. THEY ARE VERY INVITING AND MAKE YOU FEEL SO AT EASE AND AT HOME. THEY ARE SO HELPFUL AND ACCOMODATING. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM AND THEIR VENUE.THERE ARE THREE TO FOUR OUTSIDE AREAS FOR AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY, EVERTHING CAN ALSO BE INDOORS IF NEEDED DUE TO BAD WEATHER. TERRI WAS A BIG HELP IN OFFERING SUGGESTIONS OF SET UP, CATERERS, DJS, ETC. A DEFINITE PLUS WAS HAVING THEM THERE THE DAY OF TO HANDLE PARKING AND ARRIVAL OF HIRED SERVICES. MARK EVEN HAS A GOLF CART TO TAKE THOSE THAT HAVE A HARD TIME WALKING TO THE CEREMONY SITE ON THE PROPERTY. THE GROUNDS ARE VERY WELL KEPT AND PICTURE PERFECT.I WOULD HAVE ANY PARTY/CELEBRATION HERE, IF I COULD!!!!!!!

My husband and I got engaged in August 2022. We are expecting our first child and wanted to get married before he arrived. I heard about Yorktowne Farms through my mother-in-law. I immediately reached out to Terri Carter via email. She responded within minutes to my email ready to coordinate. My husband, Jared, and I wanted to get married on September 24th. We were so fortunate Terri had this date available. She set up a date for us to come tour the venue. As soon as we drove up to the venue I was mesmerized by the beautiful view. Terri was so generous to give us a tour of the grounds and explain everything we could expect on our wedding day. She also provided a packet that included pricing, when the venue was available, and other vendors we could use for catering, DJ, etc. The price for this venue was extremely reasonable given all that is included. My husband and I knew immediately this is where we wanted to get married. We were so lucky Terri had the venue available for the day we wanted and how flexible she was with our timeline. She coordinated with our caterer to ensure everything would be set up on the day of the wedding. We were able to begin using the venue the Thursday before our wedding and had it all the way to the following Monday. Both Terri and her husband Mark were so kind to ensure we had access to the tables, chairs, and linens to help for a smooth set up. The day of the wedding, Terri and Mark were the absolute best. They graciously allowed us to use their house for the bridal party's entrance into the ceremony. They both made sure everything was set up and running according to plan to alleviate some of the stress on the bridal party. Terri and Mark are the sweetest people you will ever meet and ensure that your day goes exactly how you expect. My wedding was absolutely perfect and I can not thank them enough. My husband and I appreciate all of Terri and Mark's help to make our wedding more than we could have ever dreamed of. We both highly recommend this gorgeous venue and its coordinators.

I coordinated my first wedding at Yorktowne Farms, and was not disappointed at ALL! Terri and Mr. Mark are two of the kindest people you will ever meet. They made the wedding prep and day go so smoothly and were willing to help beyond expectations. The venue and facilities were wonderful. Could not recommend more.

My now-husband and I cannot recommend Yorktowne Farms enough to everyone getting married. It has everything you would want for a classy and slightly rustic feel of a wedding. The site has a beautiful willow tree, lovely stream, gorgeous barn, and home, which is perfect for pictures. The owners also keep a stunning, planted area if you want to get married in front of flowers. Across the way, you have a beautiful horse farm with fawn and mamma horses. The owners are some of the most caring, fun, kind, and loveable people you will ever meet. They make sure that the property looks perfect for your special day. They have the option for you to have tables and chairs in the barn and a second set of chairs for the ceremony. Allowing us to manipulate venue space as needed to accommodate our guests. For anyone doing wedding research, tables and chairs are rarely included with the venue, and if they are, you can never change the setup. This made it great for us to rearrange the space to include a photo booth. They also have plenty of parking behind the barn and out of sight for the event. Again, wonderful place with amazing owners whom we cannot thank enough for letting us have our dream wedding at their venue.

Terri and Mark Carter (Owner) We have been helping couples make their wedding dreams come true for 10 years. The first event was a 50th wedding anniversary party for Mark's parents. The caterer told Mark \"this would be a great wedding venue!\" Things just took off from there. We wanted to make Yorktowne Farms a place where couples don 't have to rush. We want it to be a time filled making wonderful memories because this is one of the most important days in a couples lives. So, we offer couple's five days to prepare, Thursday thru Monday. We love seeing the final result set against the beauty of Yorktowne Farms.
